Variety is the spice of life Donk, there’s a lot of interesting artists to discover and enjoy. Exactly. And that is Jackie's problem. There are zillions of artists around and Jackie is unable to stand out among them. She has not given the public any reason to seek her out so very few members of the public do so.

Here is a artist that just doesn't seem to be able to make the top tier. She is just 1 year older than Jackie. Seems to have all the qualifying factors. Looks, Charisma, writes her own music, no bad press, good size following (38 million instagram followers) but she just can't seem to make the same level as Olivia Rodrigo. The only reason I heard of her is because she is a friend of Maddie Ziegler. She is on a world tour right now and does have good size venues but she never receives much publicity. It is easy to see why Jackie isn't making it but I can't figure Madison Beer out. www.instagram.com/madisonbeer/

I commented on her a few years ago when I was posting monthly breakdowns. Since Billie broke into the mainstream, she is probably the most successful of all the singers currently off the radar. She keeps releasing music, has pver 19 million Spotify monthly listeners and over 6 million Spotify subscribers - but has no real radio presence and little mainstream recognition. Those who do remember her probably do so because she first got attention when she was around 13 and posting on YouTube when Justin Bieber gave her a shoutout and she suddenly got a ton of attention.
She's very attractive, has a decent voice, has some nice songs, a large fanbase and has 1 platinum and 4 gold singles. However, her popularity is primarily generated by social media and some playlist exposure. So what is going on here? i think there are two factors. The first is that her voice, while pleasant, is unremarkable. Not in terms of quality but in terms of distinctness. She just sounds like her voice could have been generated by AI. The same applies to her songs. They sound well constructed but lack any real individuality. When I listen to her, it just sounds **meh**. There is little to interest anyone who isn't already a fan. Olivia's first album has a number of obvious if melodramatic hit singles and her latest effort has some legitimate bangers. She is obviously a far better songwriter than Madison. Olivia is also very personable. While Madison's personality does not turn off potential fans, Olivia has an infectious energy.
While not breaking out into mainstream stardom, Madison is doing fine commercially and can obviously get jobs modeling whenever she wants.

Grace posted this to her IG stories and a fanpage duplicated it here:
At first I thought she was going for a classic Hollywood actress look here - until the leggings showed up. I guess she had to find room to be a little bit quirky. Maybe she's going for the Debbie Harry (Blondie) look. Some fans are speculating she is picking out outfits for the PR appearances for Megalopolis.

Well genius, I put "care" in quotes because I was quoting the word you used. Not sure how that is confusing to you. lol And your assertion makes no sense. If you don't care for her adult voice, you didn't care for her childhood voice...they aren't that different. If you were a Jackie fan when she was younger, I suspect you were just being a bit of a drama queen saying that you don't care for it now, no matter what genre she is singing. I was basically just calling you out on that. Now, if you came back and said I am right, you were never a fan, then saying you don't care for it now in any genre would make sense. Or, if you said you just don't care for her voice in the genre she is singing now, that would make sense. Or, even if you had said you used to like her voice but have grown bored with it...that would make sense too, although, that would be your issue not hers. Her voice is her voice...she's has no control over that. To quote the great donkey, ROFL. Who's the genius now? Just re-read my post. I'll leave it to others to understand why your reply is not worth a rebuttal. I know you like to argue with people for pages over minor points, but I'm not going to do that with you. Over the years, I've noticed that followers of any cultural phenomenon of all kinds make comments such as "you are a fan of "cultural phenomenon", only if you "fill in the blank". For example, you are a true fan of the Green Bay Packers only if you showed up to games in seasons in which they won only a handful of games. In this case, you are only a fan of Jackie if you care for her adult voice no matter what genre, or you never were a fan in the first place. Strange logic. I have enjoyed very little of what Jackie has produced in her adult years. Just because someone doesn't like her music since she reached adulthood does not mean they were never a fan at all. That's a silly argument. Personally, I don't like most of what she has produced since Awakening. That doesn't mean I was never a fan. I'm still following Jackie because I know that she is capable of portraying intense emotions through her voice, and would like her to reach that level again. Just haven't heard it for a long time. One can lol all they want, but those lol's are there just to make the other party seem dumb or uninformed, lol.

One can lol all they want, but those lol's are there just to make the other party seem dumb or uninformed, lol. That would be strange logic, if that had been what was said...yesterday anyway. But of course that isn't what was said. LOL The statement made yesterday was that said individual didn't care for ANYTHING that Jackie sings as an adult...that would include new and old material, since she still sings both. Since Jackie's voice hasn't changed much since she was a kid, this seemed to imply that they must never have been much of a fan of Jackie's voice in the first place then. That, or this person has just grown tired of her voice. In that case, there is nothing that Jackie can do about that...her voice is her voice. You are confusing two things. You said you don't care much for the new material that Jackie has produced since the Awakening. That is a different matter. You are saying you don't like the material, which there is a lot to be said for...I at least in part agree with that. What was stated yesterday seemed to pertain to her voice. I think the person speaking probably mispoke and didn't mean to say they don't like "anything" she sings these days, just doesn't most of the new material she sings these days. I'm not quite sure what you mean by "achieve that level again"? What level? Are you implying that her voice has gone downhill since then? Or are you suggesting that she no longer sings with the same emotion? Or, are you just saying you hope she goes back to singing the kind of music that she seemed to shine at the most, namely the classic kind of stuff like Nella Fantasia and O mio babbino caro? I personally didn't enjoy most of her material on The Debut, not because she didn't sing it well or show emotion, but merely because I wasn't into Broadway songs. I've enjoyed COT much more than I enjoyed The Debut, largely because I enjoy that type of music. I have always said that where Jackie shinned and stood out was when she sang the kind of music she sang on AGT back in the day. When she sings pop music now, I think she's sounds fine, and I still really enjoy her voice, but she doesn't really stand out in the crowd of young women pop singers when singing in a lower register. I think a lot more young women singers can sing lower register pop type music well than can sing the higher register, "opera" type music that made Jackie famous and that she can still sing quite well. Ave Maria would be another example of that. And finally as Socal points out, the cute, sweet little kid with the angelic voice lost the cute, sweet little kid half of her schtick, and now just has pure voice that really only sparkled the most with the classic kind of music.

It always manages to find a way to shine through. It'll be interesting to see if she does go with something similar for any upcoming red carpets.

The Gif is only agreeing with what someone said. jackie-amazon.proboards.com/post/84462/threadHow is the graphic any different from posting "I agree"? If you want to say something, say it with your own words. Please don't post a graphic that forces readers to waste time scrolling past. It takes the same time to scroll past words as it does a gif.
