Just throwing this out there but has anyone else noticed a certain commonality in a lot of Jackie’s videos. What’s that you say, well I’ll fill you in. I’ve noticed that most of her videos have her performing in a bed, mostly showing off her legs of which I’m not complaining about. lol!

The latest Video has her rolling around on the bed with her top open, gazing into the camera. She is 100% trying to be provocative. While you’re at it get your ears checked too. Lol! Perhaps you need to rethink that. This video is about her mental illness...this is about her mind going nuts on her, a mind that wouldn't stop racing even when she went to bed, as she was "running from her mind"....there was no escape even in sleep. This video wasn't meant to have anything to do with sexuality. Remember, she has strongly hinted that it even lead to thoughts of suicide. Leave it to jb to find sexuality in a video about mental illness - anxiety, the need to be perfect that she can't escape, anorexia,etc. ROFL One could be forgiven for thinking the bed part of the video was sexual if it was in isolation from the rest of the video and you didn't listen to the lyrics or understand what they meant. But you should know better. lol Here are the lyrics that played during the bed scene. This describes fear and uncertainty. Not sure how you think her intention in that scene is in any way trying to be seductive or sexy when accompanied by lyrics like that. Good grief man. If I were Jackie I'd ban both of these YouTube accounts from my page: cl9786, rehoboth2721
They have been harassing people on Jackie's channel for years. White nights don't do her any favors, they never have. She used to have a lot more than these two clowns, but the bad vibes they still create on her channel are enough to warrant banning.
Anna banned a bunch years ago. Grace has them, Taylor has them, and Amira has some damn annoying ones, especially ones who troll her on Jackie's page.

I absolutely agree. I don't know about the two you mention specifically, but "white knight" accounts in general do the object of their hero worship no favors. I remember back when Jackie had appeared om TMS, there were people guessing who Miss Kitty might be and some said Jackie but most guessed other better known stars. When the latter happened and some said they never heard of her, there were some Jackie fans who became indignant. I think any sane Jackie fan would get that they should try informing them of Jackie's career and point them to sources where they could hear her for themselves rather than jump down the throats of people who were just guessing and being honest about not knowing her. It is a sure fire way to make sure these people never become Jackie fans.
Like you, I have seen the same thing with the followers of Grace, Angelina Jordan, and various others. I get that unless you are fans of artists who are "under the mainstream radar," you might easily have not heard of them or not remembered them if you had. I don't get offended if someone never heard of Jackie or Grace but just give some brief synopsis of their career and why they might want to check them out and a few video links. There is no need to badger people and it is counter-productive. I also think that with the "white knights," they don't get it because they are not really attracted to the music so much as imagining they are defending their damsel in distress. It is really quite creepy.

LoL...no, see, her social media is where fans gather to support her, and yes, hopefully she draws in new fans. However, anyone going there to insult her, insult her video, be mean, rude, negative or unkind...there is no point to that except to troll or just be nasty. It would be inappropriate and fans would be justified defending her. I did a lot of that around the time she was relentlessly attacked for agreeing to sing at Trump's inauguration. A little constructive criticism, said nicely or politely, might be okay, but beyond that...no. No purpose to be mean or tell someone that you don't like their video except to upset them. Even more so when we are talking about someone who is singing about their personal struggles with mental illness. And the girl's had more than her share of being bullied in her life...when I see that, I will step up. Fortunately, I don't see it much with Jackie these days. Now, I haven't seen samples of what the two people you are talking are saying, or what kind of comments they are responding to...so I can't speak directly to this situation. lol |

A song being about mental illness and its video using sex appeal are not mutually exclusive. Sex has been used to sell everything. There is a reason why movie scenes that occur in a common place of work have women who are hotter than you have seen in any workplace in America outside of a modeling agency and wear clothing that is as revealing as it is impractical. Yes, the song is about mental illness, but there is a reason the video director had Jackie with a bare midriff and showing off her legs rather than wearing a straightjacket.
