The comment section is there for people to comment and voice an opinion. She can always delete comments, I've known her to do that, can't blame her, or close off the comment section. LoL...no, see, her social media is where fans gather to support her, and yes, hopefully she draws in new fans. However, anyone going there to insult her, insult her video, be mean, rude, negative or unkind...there is no point to that except to troll or just be nasty. It would be inappropriate and fans would be justified defending her. I did a lot of that around the time she was relentlessly attacked for agreeing to sing at Trump's inauguration. A little constructive criticism, said nicely or politely, might be okay, but beyond that...no. No purpose to be mean or tell someone that you don't like their video except to upset them. Even more so when we are talking about someone who is singing about their personal struggles with mental illness. And the girl's had more than her share of being bullied in her life...when I see that, I will step up. Fortunately, I don't see it much with Jackie these days. It takes way less than you might think for someone to get pounced on by these guys.

Perhaps you need to rethink that. This video is about her mental illness...this is about her mind going nuts on her, a mind that wouldn't stop racing even when she went to bed, as she was "running from her mind"....there was no escape even in sleep. This video wasn't meant to have anything to do with sexuality.
A song being about mental illness and its video using sex appeal are not mutually exclusive. Sex has been used to sell everything. There is a reason why movie scenes that occur in a common place of work have women who are hotter than you have seen in any workplace in America outside of a modeling agency and wear clothing that is as revealing as it is impractical. Yes, the song is about mental illness, but there is a reason the video director had Jackie with a bare midriff and showing off her legs rather than wearing a straightjacket.
Jackie may want to look good and wear a stylish, even slightly sexy outfit for her video. In fact I have no doubt that is the case. But clearly this video is focused on mental illness and her struggles with it, not being hot and sexy in bed. If she does look that way, fine, but it really misses the point. I personally find it hard to think that way when the lyrics are talking about fear, running from her mind, and the thoughts being "hard to bear".

I thought her bed segment was clever as representing one of the thematic states of mind in the video. Being hot is part of who she is and she's being honest about it.

Are you kidding me Donk, do you need glasses my friend? The latest Video has her rolling around on the bed with her top open, gazing into the camera. She is 100% trying to be provocative. While you’re at it get your ears checked too. Lol! Remember, she has strongly hinted that it even lead to thoughts of suicide. Leave it to jb to find sexuality in a video about mental illness - anxiety, the need to be perfect that she can't escape, anorexia, etc. ROFL One could be forgiven for thinking the bed part of the video was sexual if it was in isolation from the rest of the video and you didn't listen to the lyrics or understand what they meant. But you should know better. lol Here are the lyrics that played during the bed scene. This describes fear and uncertainty. Not sure how you think her intention in that scene is in any way trying to be seductive or sexy when accompanied by lyrics like that. Good grief man. I, I've been getting kinda scared And feeling unprepared For what's to come There's this fear deep inside of me Like there's something I cannot see And it's coming after me It's hard to bear Sorry Donk but I totally disagree with your assessment of the video. The first part of the video has Jackie in bed wearing nothing but a sweather which is wide open in order to draw in your eyes to look at her chest with plenty enough attention to showing off her legs. I think you need to rewatch the video with an open mind.

If I were Jackie I'd ban both of these YouTube accounts from my page: cl9786, rehoboth2721 They have been harassing people on Jackie's channel for years. White nights don't do her any favors, they never have. She used to have a lot more than these two clowns, but the bad vibes they still create on her channel are enough to warrant banning. If someone is leaving negative, ignorant comments under youtube videos, the purpose is to get attention. These are trollish actions. Its hypocritical because you feel entitled to your freedom of speech, well then a person has a right to counter your ridiculous argument, its their freedom of speech. For example if RO is arguing shes leaving CC. btw donkey was correct its not meant to be sexual, johnny's argument is projection. Classical Crossover is music that is multiple genres, if you think its only Nessun Dorma then you must think every italian eats a big bowl of meatballs. A CC artist can sing or instrumental whatever the hell they want (even if it means alt pop with nothing CC about it or the marketing) and come back to and from singing her catalog repertoire. Its selfish to expect anything from Jackie other than what makes her or any artist happy, its the worse kind of fan to post such comments. Being a fan involves supporting Jackie or any artist. Sure I can criticize as well like the Isabeau clip in her stories, is actually older than from the recent vid in Montreal she posted (to be fair there may not have been anything else to use) (btw I wonder if her Team found out about it from my exchange on yt or from the publishing company, I was just talking about licensing when that was found). Doesn't matter though, its just nitpicking. The fact is I don't think ive ever seen Jackie give a shout out since Amira and no wonder, Isabeau is likely to compete in the Olympics as long as she remains in top form. I also don't think ive seen anyone do that well skating artistically to Jackie's music and the crowd loving it. Ennio Morricone also deserves the credit, thats among the best composed music ive ever heard.

Nothing wrong with thinking she looks good there, but that's not the point of the song at all. lol "She is soooo hot and sexy, singing about how her mental illness is ruining her existance". See what I mean? lol While the former may be true, it just seems odd in this case to be focusing on that.

I thought her bed segment was clever as representing one of the thematic states of mind in the video. Being hot is part of who she is and she's being honest about it. If someone thinks she looks hot and sexy in that bed scene, all the power to them. Was she trying to be sexy there, or trying to project something else? Not sure, but just saying the focus of the video is obviously her mental illness. So that was my focus. The lyrics playing at the time she is in that bed certainly don't coincide with being hot or being sexy, that's for sure. Lyrics aside, Jackie goal there aside, does she just look hot and sexy in that scene. That;s subjective I guess. I never really saw Jackie as "hot" or "sexy". Cute/pretty in her own right...for sure. lol Yes it's subjective, but who really cares how either one of us interprets the scene. My interpretation is that the scene is one of several outward self-expressions in the video that layer onto the lyrics. Added dimension and symbolism of what's in that head of hers. Christina (or whoever designed the video) did a good job with this.

JB just caught me a bit by surprise talking about how sexy she looked when I was thinking this was all about her very serious personal mental health issues. I guess I just wasn't thinking that way about it...I was focused on what might be going on in her mind on that bed. At the end of the video, she's back in that bed, and has a defeated look to her I thought. Interesting. I would love to hear Jackie go through the video and explain what she was trying to portray in each scene in more detail.

Jackie has already revealed that she felt she never really measured up to all these tall beautiful women that she encountered on a daily basis throughout her career. The videos are a reflection on her part showing the world that she can and is as beautiful and sexy as her tall counterparts.

Of course Jackie is trying to be sexy and succeeding at it. All the other artist do the same thing except they don't have Jackie's old fan base that can't imagine their 10 year old darling that way. When Jackie was doing an interview she mentioned about being sexy. The fact is Jackie is way more interested about what her body looks like than other mentioned here. The fact that she would starve herself because she wants the perfect body shows that. The problem isn't that Jackie wants to look sexy on her music video the problem is she has a fan base that would call her out on it.

I dont know what they are saying to trolls/negative comments about Jackie or her video. But what's wrong with defending her against it? Her social media accounts are essentially fan pages...negative comments would be inappropriate and I could see fans defending her. The comment section is there for people to comment and voice an opinion. She can always delete comments, I've known her to do that, can't blame her, or close off the comment section. So you expect to read YouTube and not see fans talking good about her. That's nonsense. That's like watching Fox news and expecting them to talk good about democrats or CNN and expecting them to talk good about Republicans.

Of course fans can say good things about her and compliment her. There's a difference between that and attacking people who don't care for her voice, or a particular song, or say they prefer her soprano voice to her pop voice, etc. They have the right to state their opinion, just as members here have the right to not like other singers, and they say so. One fan in particular, who still posts here, is infamous for attacking people. The E's made it clear that they didn't like that because they knew that it didn't help Jackie, it hurt her.

It just so happens that Jackie has been dressing in her public appearances and photo shoots in a much more provocative manner than in the past. Whether one thinks it is Jackie finally demonstrating her independence or the influence of Christina, it is a fact and the video is just more of the same. So it is not really shock that she would dress in a way one might call "sexy" since that is how she has been dressing recently anyway. Certainly, the video director would favor that since he is well aware that an attractive young woman showing legs and a bare midriff will likely keep the audience's attention longer than an attractive young woman wearing a burqa.
