For the 100th time ill explain it to you: when artists release an LP or an EP they then tour to promote it. lol...for the 100th time, I agree. However, where are the concert dates? In the old old days of yore, Jackie released an album and toured for 1-2 years with music from the album. But with her decline in popularity, that is no more. She released COT, toured for 8 weeks in small venues and even smaller audiences, and then abandoned COT 8 weeks after its release and turned her attention to Solla (Jackie 3.0). So where are the concert dates, you ask? Jackie released BME, the first song on Solla, Sep 2023 more than 7 months ago. Her website said she and Greg Camp had completed Solla last year so why the long delay in releasing Solla and touring with it? Not to mention the rumors of her touring with Mike Grimm. My theory is that the delay in releasing Solla and touring is because she has had significant problems setting up the tour for 3 reasons: (1) The first questions venues will ask are: how did your last tour perform and how many followers do you have on social media? The answers are not encouraging. (2) The poor performance of her Solla songs. Spotify Plays as of today: Smoking Gun - 9K CQ - 16K BME1 - 57K BME2 - 19K Total - 102K BME is doing relatively OK But Smoking Gun and CQ are greatly underwhelming. So what venue would book a Solla concert with only 1 decently performing song? (3) But even if all the Solla songs had decent plays, Jackie still faces a big problem: 6 songs are not enough for a concert. So the concert would have to be mostly Jackie 1.0 songs. So Jackie 3.0 fans would be disappointed. And how would a new concert be advertised - pop concert or CC concert? Either way half the audience would be disappointed. Any venue would want a pop artist or a CC artist but not one who is half and half. Bottom Line: I assume the concert dates will eventually trickle in piecemeal but it will not be a large tour as in the old days.

So Jackie 3.0 fans would be disappointed. And how would a new concert be advertised - pop concert or CC concert? Either way half the audience would be disappointed. Any venue would want a pop artist or a CC artist but not one who is half and half. She's sung pop songs at CC concerts before, and that wasn't a problem. Most "1.0" fans are ok with if perhaps not preferring "3.0". Not our fault if pop fans aren't as broad-minded, or if the presence of some folks a few decades older than they are puts them off. (but there are pop fans of all ages, so why should it?)

Jackie1.0 fans can certainly tolerate a few Jackie3.0 songs, as long as it is just a few. But almost no Jackie3.0 fan would put up with a concert of mostly Jackie1.0 songs. Which means that Jackie will be back where she has always been - singing concerts for her traditional CC audience, as she has done for the past 14 years.

Since so many on here laughed at JoJo Siwa 2.0 I think she should be a good bench mark for Jackie 3.0
Within 2 weeks of JoJo becoming JoJo 2.0 she released a music video 13 days ago that has 26.7 million views and is still #1 trending on youtube music. Her first concert at JoJo 2.0 had 50,000 attending.
I will be willing to bet Jackie 3.0 will never get close to those numbers.
JoJo 's 21 birthday is May 19 it will be interesting to see if she get more than a cupcake with some sprinkles on it.

And it's true, not enough original songs or demand for them for a "Solla" concert. It would probably need to be billed as this weekend's concert, "An Evening with Jackie Evancho", a mix of old material and some new songs.

Jackie’s father has raised a daughter in a way she will always depend on him, she won’t be able to live a normal life because of his strong influence on her! Jackie could have been married by now if it wasn’t for dear old Dad! I have to disagree with you there Coltman. I don't think her dad has been employing some evil plot to destroy his daughter's mind so that she will always need him. I think he's made mistakes, had some bad judgment, especially in hindsight, and I think there has definitely been some family dysfunction. Add to that fame at 10 and having the whole family reliant on a kid to pay all their bills, and that's a recipe for mental illness to come a knocking. But I don't believe that pop ever intended to damage Jackie. Jackie has been in a lot of therapy in recent years, and even after all that time analyzing the causes of her mental issues with a professional, she doesn't seem to have come to the conclusion that dad is the source of her problems. She trusts no one more. Some people obtain their self-worth from parenting their kids. Doing so creates an unhealthy dependency if it continues into adulthood.

True, but Mike doesn't strike me as someone who gets his self worth from Jackie.

So where are the concert dates, you ask? During that Lyndsey Parker interview that I reposted a week ago filmed prior to those shows she complained about still feeling back pain. The most simple explanation is the best one as to why more shows werent booked (if she still had symptoms) and why she didnt perform more at that time.

True, but Mike doesn't strike me as someone who gets his self worth from Jackie. He sure as hell gets his Net Worth from Jackie. I could care less if he can justify what he did to her career to himself.
