During that Lyndsey Parker interview that I reposted a week ago filmed prior to those shows she complained about still feeling back pain. The most simple explanation is the best one as to why more shows werent booked (if she still had symptoms) and why she didnt perform more at that time.That would indeed explain why more shows weren't booked and why she didn't perform more at that time. But it doesn't explain why she isn't doing any COT concerts now. The only thing that explains why she is not doing COT concerts now is that there is no audience for COT concerts then and now. |

We can add "her back hurt" to the ever-growing trash bin of absurd excuses that msims has given us for the failed COT tour, to include it was too cold to tour and she was too busy writing songs to tour. It doesn't make sense for Jackie to book any concerts. She's not a headliner anymore. Maybe she can do a five-song opener for Greg Camp's band or something, but then she needs a band of her own. I'd wait at least until she has enough new material to put on top of the EP, which means an album. Basically she's just starting out.

It doesn't make sense for Jackie to book any concerts. She's not a headliner anymore. Maybe she can do a five-song opener for Greg Camp's band or something, but then she needs a band of her own. I'd wait at least until she has enough new material to put on top of the EP, which means an album. Basically she's just starting out. That would be for a concert of only orginals....that is years from happening, if ever. She would have perform a concert mix as she has done and as she is doing on Saturday...old and new stuff. Even if she had enough original material now, nobody would show up to her concerts except a small handful of OTTs if orginal music is all she sang. She might get there eventually, like you said, but that will take years, if it ever happens. Right now she has to work with what she has and the audience she has left. Play the Jackie classics that fans want, and demo live her originals. She needs to work on gradually transitioning over time from old to new and hope she gains more younger audience as what's left of her old fan base kicks the bucket or become too old to travel to concerts. lol One thing that might also help make her oldies fresher is change up her song list. Sing some fan favs that she hasn't performed in a concert in many years. How about some Ave Maria, Lord's Prayer, Nella Fantasia, and Your Love, for example. |

She's sung pop songs at CC concerts before, and that wasn't a problem. Most "1.0" fans are ok with if perhaps not preferring "3.0". Jackie1.0 fans can certainly tolerate a few Jackie3.0 songs, as long as it is just a few. But almost no Jackie3.0 fan would put up with a concert of mostly Jackie1.0 songs. Which means that Jackie will be back where she has always been - singing concerts for her traditional CC audience, as she has done for the past 14 years. This is why I had suggested going out as an opening act for another alt-pop/AC act. It gives her a reason to not perform 1.0 songs, the opener doesn't have a full set to fill, and she can experiment with covers or unreleased songs. It will also get her exposure to the audience she wants to attract. |

LOL Re-watch this interview to understand her head space at the time: and she did also explain in that interview that writing is better for her, so it makes sense why she didn't tour more, makes total sense. There was some psychological issues that came to a head prior to COT I think and she was still going through it at the time. If donkey is a fan, he would respect and support her decisions like he claims to on social media. |

This is why I had suggested going out as an opening act for another alt-pop/AC act. It could be any non-CC headliner who plays good sized venues or a Stirling, Groban as an opener as well. |

she did also explain in that interview that writing is better for her, so it makes sense why she didn't tour more, makes total sense. Made total sense then, but doesn't explain why she is not touring with COT now. The only thing that makes sense now is that nobody wants to buy tickets for COT concerts. |
