I don't think that Jackie's fans can claim both that she has great talent and wonderful management after where she is now and being a professional singer for 13 years. You can't have it both ways. Either she never really had the talent and her management was great and did the best they could or Jackie was/is very talented but just has/had very poor management. Personally I believe Jackie has all the talent she needed to become as big as a star as Olivia Rodrigo is now but she had such terrible management and people who micro-controlled her life over the years. Yes she may have problems with personality and charisma but a lot of that could have been taught and her not being able to mingle with her own peers is a lot of that problem. Pretending to be friends with other entertainers is just use and be used. The heck with that, even if it's a publicity multiplier, unless some very few are REAL friends. The whole celeb scene with premiers and other high profile events is distorted so far away from actual life it's not even funny. Nothing wrong with doing a high profile event a couple times a year if you get an invite, but otherwise it's better to sit around in baggy outfit and eat bbq chicken at home (with or without regular folks selfie) rather than extra dry chicken on a plate wearing something gorgeous (or better for publicity and worse in every other way, controversial) and uncomfortable. Aside from doing the job (which in addition to interviews and the like, these days regrettably does include social media) bleep publicity and the horse it rode in on and the dog that bit it. (publicity doesn't ride donkeys, so let's not go there)

Except for Jackie I can't think of any celebrity that has your negative outlook. Is that what Mike taught Jackie that to trust nobody except him and he will always be her best friend.

And we will also mention that she is a multi platinum selling recording artist! YAY! But we won't mention that most people bought that 4 song EP because they wanted to get the included DVD of all of her AGT appearances due to the crazed media frenzy at the time! No, we would never mention that! I don't think that Jackie's fans can claim both that she has great talent and wonderful management after where she is now and being a professional singer for 13 years. You can't have it both ways. Either she never really had the talent and her management was great and did the best they could or Jackie was/is very talented but just has/had very poor management. Jackie's popularity (her AGT finale still the highest rated episode of the series) and talent sold OVER 3 million units, performed nearly 200 gigs (more to come given her recent response and body language). She is one of the biggest success stories in the last 13 years and tonight shes going be on ABC Nightline (mentioned in her Insta stories). Transition from child to adult singer was smooth because she can actually sing and there is no schtick alla JoJo. To Jackie fans or to anyone with a brain she has plenty of personality and charm. This is just Mean Girl schtick.

The venues sure aren't buying that crap as Jackie herself said she can't get venues. Jackie still hasn't made up for the losses since she introduced BME. Before BME 102,293 followers Today 101,733 and the fact is most of the time people don't take the time to un-follow someone they just stop caring or supporting them. Don't worry if Jackie really does something that will make a difference then we will see it in the numbers somewhere either in social media or number of streams.

Nightline segment, that's good! Here's how it will go:
5% of the segment: Intro and outro
10% of the segment: Commercial breaks
30% of the interview: AGT, how she got started, who she sang with
50% of the interview: Eating disorder, osteoporosis, depression, fake priests
5% of the interview: New album

What she needs at this point, is at least 50% of the interview should be devoted to her new direction.

I agree, that's pretty much how her interviews usually go, it's the same thing over, and over, and over, but does she have any control over what questions are asked? Maybe she could at least let the interviewers know ahead of time that she really wants to discuss her new direction, otherwise it's pretty much a waste of her time. There's nothing wrong with reminding the listeners of her past who don't have a clue about her, but after that it's time to move on to the present.

Even high school girls that are not celebrities but travel in packs, are more status minded than friends. Status is frequently even more over-valued among celebrities.

That's not necessarily true, to this day my 3 closest friends are from my high school days. I also keep in touch with several people that I became friends with while working. And most young people have a lot of friends and enjoy parties, I know you don't believe that but it's true. You clearly were and still are not exactly a party animal, and that's fine, but there's nothing wrong with having good friends.

You're right - and the media has been dwelling on the past since the very beginning. In these interviews, she's been handling those questions like a champ. I agree with you - if she is able, she should provide the interviewers with a list of appropriate questions that align with her new-found direction.
