Men complaining how Jackie looks , that’s rich ! She hasn't been looking very good lately, the eye make-up is awful, she looks rough. But I guess that's the look she's going for and if she thinks she looks good, so be it. And BTW, colty, I'm not a man, and I do wear make-up. |

The increase in streams seems to still be steady. BME 2.0 has been added to another Spotify playlist (Relaxing Songs). I would also note the difference in monthly Spotify listeners. Although monthly listeners are not a determining factor as a whole, they do give a good snapshot. As a rule, you would expect to have an increase in monthly listeners with a new release, a steady position with a small lag in releases, and a drop with an extended lag in releases. It makes sense since the new releases is what gets the playlists, radio airplay, and draws in the casual fans.
With a new EP out, you would hope for some kind of spike with Jackie, and that appears to have happened. I will list the monthly listeners I have found posted on this board recently:
July 2023: 124,000
August 2023: 118,000
September 2023 117,000
March 2024 105,000
April 2024 110,000
Current 138,000
That is a pretty significant increase relative to her position in March. It does make the point that getting out to meet people in the industry and get feedback (which MP has had Jackie doing) and getting some playlist exposure does really matter. This is pretty much what I thought would be realistic for a first release in a new genre where no one knew her and didn't care if they did. This does at least give her something to build on but it makes her next steps that much more important.
