I don’t think msims knows what he is talking about, he is throwing spaghetti 🍝 against the wall and see if any of it sticks!

You forgot this whopper and this (new article about Molly Ringwald) You can't put Millie Bobby Brown in the same boat as Molly Ringwald. Molly was never a major actor like Millie and that friend ship between Millie and Drake was nothing. Now Molly and Jackie seem to have a lot in common in that they both started young then when their careers stopped they start bringing up BS that they said happened to them trying to get an audience. Millie on the other hand started young as was a major actor and her career just kept on growing to where she can get 10 million for making a movie plus she has her own cosmetic line.
I don't think you will see Millie Bobby Brown or is it Millie Bobby Bongiovi now, crying about her youth anytime soon.

lol - thanks for the reminder. If you figure out who Cait and Caz are, please let us know. IMO, these two are sims' imaginary enemies that consist of anyone who disagrees with his bizarre theories. Haven't figured that out, but there was MAwriter (later HappyCamper or HCamp) who said semi nice things until they decided they were a self-appointed advocate for Renee Fleming, and therefore couldn't stand Jackie anymore. HC's reputation is still probably okay although she set the example that Cait and Rickky followed to this day. The pushing of other singers that Jackie fans arent interested in which doesn't stop it even a little bit and the pitting of fans against fans but not wanting entirely to get her hands dirty. The occasional disingenuous compliment thrown in for manipulative purposes so she wont be called out and obviously being considered a "she" helps. All the issues caused had fans leaving the old amazon and eventually she left as it was found out that was involved in some capacity with an opera singer. Her and her friends I found did not like Jackie whatsoever I think her goal was to hurt the forum. The posters I describe as Cait its one or two people at the most clowning behind various guests and registered accounts. It really doesn't make sense or have to make sense why someone would post on a forum about someone they hate, the internet is full of trolls and people seeking negative attention. That includes some of the spam.

That includes some of the spam. So, Cait/Caz is someone who fakes being a fan, but in reality, is someone who hates Jackie. Cait/Caz once in awhile say positive things about Jackie to not get called out. They waste their time coming to this forum to post about Jackie because they hate her. OK, got it. You've been using that terminology for quite a long time, and the only conclusion that I could make is that you were mentally ill. Thanks for clarifying that. I've decided to use the term "sims" to describe someone who is a bit psycho at a minimum, and who can only tolerate slobbering, mush gushy posts about the object of his idolatry, Jackie. "sims" is driven by directing wrath towards anyone who appears to have an objective opinion. (That describes about 95% of the posters here.) Rather than posting positive statements about Jackie, "sims" wastes his time berating any posters that don't continuously mush and gush about his hero. There are rumours that Cait and Caz are in a long-term relationship so it's going to be long, steady battle for sims to destroy the effect that they have in the forum.

So, Cait/Caz is someone who fakes being a fan, but in reality, is someone who hates Jackie. Cait/Caz once in awhile say positive things about Jackie to not get called out. They waste their time coming to this forum to post about Jackie because they hate her. There were people on Amazon and may be people here who are quite close to that description. It might however be excessive to suppose that everyone that someone usually disagrees with must be one of those people. The other site is a fan forum, nominally. This one, like it nor not, isn't. Although I think the real sickness is the very existence of anti-fans. If someone doesn't like something, they don't need to listen, watch, talk about it, or have anything to do with it; have a life instead. The desire to argue for argument's sake, or to expect that others comply with their own tastes, or just be a whatever Agnew's phrase was (nattering nabobs of negativism, if memory serves) is IMO at least as mentally ill as categorizing others with an overly broad brush.

Just for fun I gave everything on this list a good listen. A few good songs and a couple of surprises. For the most part, all except Behind My Eyes were upbeat. For my taste the more serious and sort of dark vibe of Jackie's song worked in her favor and earned my highest rating. Basically it doesn't fit with the rest, and I can see it crossing into other, more alternative, playlists. I could easily see her on a list with a band like Boy Genius for example. On the fun side, I can see why Hayes Warner's "Just A Girl" is at the top. It's kind of a hip-hop/pop-punkish song, like if Avril Lavigne did a song featuring Cardi B. Nothing I would keep in a playlist, but it was a fun listen. The best of the rest was Almost Monday, with two songs on the list. Their rhythmic shuffle beat reminds me a little of The Stone Roses, with some some gentle "do do doo" vocals reminiscent of Badly Drawn Boy. I've added them for further listening. The rest of the songs are, variously, formulaic, repetitive, tiresome, talent-show anthemic, and forgettable. NYA was a possible exception because they were kind of orchestral, using cello and violin, and good instrumentation, but the singer ruined it. I wanted her to go away so I could just listen to the band.

Another very good interview Definitely worth watching though. What did Jackie say that made it a "very good interview" and "definitely worth watching"? Did you watch it? He spends a lot of time with Jackie and goes into some depth with her on a number of fronts. I probably should have qualified my comment with, "worth watching if you are a Jackie fan or have an interest in her". It's just another chance to see her elaborate on various issues. I dont think that this interview is as good as the previous long interview posted here yesterday, however. He spent a lot of time overstating the current state of her career and gushing. Some examples: One thing I learned from this interview is that Jackie says she never really thought she was that good of a singer thru all of her early success years. Even when David Foster was praising her so much, she didn't really believe it and thought he was just being nice to her. She said she didn't really start believing she was a good singer until the much later. The interviewer also asked her opinion of some people she did duets with, like Tony Bennett and her arranged "duet" with Barbara Streisand, arranged by Foster. He asked her who she would like to do a duet with today, and then suggested he'd like to hear her sing with singers like John Legend and Michael Buble...which I had never thought of, but I think Jackie would sound great singing with Buble. She talked about how as a 10, 11 year old how she mentally would go into "survival mode" and just would try to get through the intense time when she was doing constant concerts and interviews, when months before she was basically mostly just doing normal kids stuff. Sounds like it was pretty overwhelming for her, but she found a way to cope with it the best she could.
