The problem for team Evancho, selling enough tickets late in the game hasn't always been that successful for them. It has nothing to do with your so called "concern trolling." It is called dealing with reality which you seem to have a very hard time coping with at times. The truth of the matter is that the only reason she got those shows at 54 Below is that she had buddies there from her previous time in New York and they threw her a sympathy bone. That's it. Nothing to do with demand, popularity, new album, etc. Just a sympathy bone. And it appears they are willing to suck up a half full show both days for their charity efforts. Will you be there Disappointed? lol

The actual reality its about selling as many tickets as possible sell outs would be nice but being its New York people will buy tickets up until the last minute. Jackie will always do fine despite the concern trolling. selling enough tickets dealing with reality You need to deal with the fact that you are not in the music business. That you have no knowledge or experience and are not a concert promoter. Jackie and Mike on the other hand have had 13 years in the business, you have not. Case in point, there is no charity business gigs are not given away as favors and I don't speak for anyone else that reads this BS but there is ZERO concern about her selling tickets from me. Shes already sold over 60% of her Nov show in tickets. As ive stated before, her fans are older and buy at their own pace and the NY shows will have walk ups. Anything else? You could gaslight colt but you can't gaslight someone who knows your schtick a mile away. DF on the other hand is charitable with his friends and he produced Chris Botti's album last year. Get a hobby.

there is ZERO concern about her selling tickets from me. I, too, have zero concern since my income is not affected by Jackie's ticket sales. But it seems that venues and concert promoters have concerns. Otherwise, they would already have launched Jackie's Solla tour. And Staller Center in Stony Brook would have booked her into their Main Stage instead of their small stage.

And Staller Center in Stony Brook would have booked her into their Main Stage instead of their small stage. Who knows why the EP release and the tour dates were scheduled a month apart? Your argument is the promoter was concerned: even though five months in advance she has already sold 60% of 380 tickets rather than 23% of 1000? Why be concerned? It sounds like they nailed it. As far as the upcoming shows, she could do an interview in a NY paper or online to advertise tickets. They have done many many times, they are not stupid people. As far as the show selling out, that depends on a number of factors this venue is mainly for theater type performers, im not even sure Jackie is that known to the theater community or to songwriter/jazz type dinner type venues she was in a few years ago but they clearly want to branch out of the CC type venues. Don't ask me why. I would not have booked her in those venues, id be looking at instead florida and Palm Springs, but these are CC type venues. That could also explain why its taking more time as they are seeking out smaller size venues, either way as I said before they could be seeing how the 54 shows do and perhaps she is too.

Get a hobby. Business is indeed business, not charity. But when dealing with a performer that's a known quantity that they like, esp. a person that's a conduit or donor of funds, can influence a decision. Esp. if they're putting up some of their own money, that's not unreasonable. And since many venues are non-profit, keeping the good will of a sponsor is also a factor. So non-profits can operate with lower percentage of seats sold. That is NOT a bad thing, even if you're an ardent libertarian capitalist, because it increases the variety of what's available. The taxes "lost" (government is a parasite!) are a fraction of the amount donated, so the effectiveness of the deduction is amplified far beyond what would happen if some artsy government program directly sponsored less patronized performers.

I don't see any tour. I see three show dates at two venues, two in June, one in November. That is by no definition a tour. Now, if more show dates appear, and mabye they will, we can talk. But until then, there is no tour.
