She can't deny that her singing sold enough units to go platinum, even if you buy into the absurd notion that people who didn't want her cd bought it anyway so that they could get a 15 minute video of that person, whose cd you don't want, singing on AGT. Let's say every single person who bought it didnt want the cd and they all wanted the dvd instead. They still paid to hear her sing in platinum earning quantity, the four songs or so on the dvd instead of the four songs on the cd. So, if she wants to call it a platinum dvd of her music instead of a platinum cd of her music...all the power to her. ROFL Most bought it to see the circus act. SEE being the operative word, which the DVD showed. They heard about the circus act on the news and wanted to see it for themselves. Most also bought it to show the circus act to others as a conversation piece and to use as a stocking stuffer for Christmas because many people had heard the big media hype and it was the latest in-thing at the time. So it was always much more about the novelty and hype than people actually being interested in her singing when it comes down to it. And that proved out over time because after the circus left town, the public had no interest in her singing and still don't. And never will again. I believe that people bought the OHN CD because they liked her performances on the show and were interested in following her from that point on. OHN sales had very little to do with the included DVD as Jackie was able to sustain sales through the DWM CD and to some extent the SFTSS CD. It's been a long road of decreased CD sales ever since though and the future isn't looking too bright.

Jackie is 24 years old, you are so negative Jackinator ! Jackie can make a living singing! There are parts of the country where she is popular! In Texas, Florida for example!

I am a lot more optimistic about Jackie’s future, she won’t be a superstar but she does have support , Jackie should perform in those areas of the country! A lot of singers are getting started at the age of 24, Jackie has been singing for over a decade and I think that should be celebrated!

That is one of the problems, Jackie has competition now, how many concerts have singer younger than 16 in them.
Many singers that are coming out were taking singing lessons and learning how to sing when they were 10 years old.
Many that are new also have professional people behind them and their parents let their agents and managers run the show.
Now it looks like even Mike has abandoned ship. At this point Jackie will need to work her behind off to make it as a pop singer and I just don't see that happening.

1. There are 81 tickets available which means that 59 have been sold. I don't recall any previous concert where Jackie has sold this few tickets 24 hrs before the concert. 2. Tickets are for sale at $15. I don't recall any previous concert where general admission tickets have been priced this low. 3. The concert is being held in the largest city in the nation and one of Jackie's two hometowns. 4. Jackie has been promoting the concert ceaselessly on her social media. But here's the most stunning thing: 5. This is considered "fine" for Jackie. Both her long-time fans and potential new ones don't give a hoot about going to a Jackie concert. NYC is expensive, parking sucks and at any rate driving in NYC also sucks, and public transportation is no prize either. Maybe Uber, Lyft, or taxis don't suck if one plans departure early enough to accommodate lots of delay, or the extravagant could hire a limo. But esp. for those for whom mobility isn't what it once was, it's a major nuisance. Which is why I'm very glad for the livestream.

Rumor is that a contingent of fake priests, blinky sign holders and penguin waddlers were clogging up the entrance to 54 Below tonight, and when Jackie heard about them, she was so emotionally distressed that she cancelled the show.

Yet Olivia Rodrigo sold out 4 Madison Square Garden Concerts in NYC with a capacity of 20,000 each. Are we to believe now that driving to a Jackie concert is just to dangerous for Jackie's older fan base and that is what is behind her low turnout numbers.

The problem isn’t criticism of a singer BR549 , it’s your attacking Jackie in a hateful way!

I think it could be part of it, although its obviously not all of it. And NYC's crime has shot way up too. I can see some of these factors scaring off some of the older fans.
