I'll pay to hear the older stuff, especially if she mixes it up and doesn't sing the same stuff over and over. There are a lot of older songs that she hasn't sung in years that I would love to hear again. She added Ave Maria and Can You Feel the Love Tonight to the 54 Below set list, and the Rains of Castamere....I really enjoyed that. She needs to cycle thru the classic Jackie songs more to keep it fresher. As far as the new stuff goes....she doesnt have nearly enough original songs for a whole show, and wont likely for at least a couple more years. So, not sure what you are suggesting she do there. Unless she opens for someone, which I think is unlikely, or just play a few songs in a local bar or dive, I don't really know what you expect of her on that front. I do agree, her new songs need percussion added, at a minimum, and mabye a bass player. But she has neither the audience or quantity of material to pay for a band or fill up a set list. Best she can do is what she has done, fill up a show with Jackie classics, and mix some new stuff in, preferably with a drummer and singing more than just two new songs in a show. True, she doesn't have enough new, original material, but what's wrong with singing some good, upbeat covers? After all the majority of what she's been singing all of these years is covers, but they're mostly old, slooooooooooooooooooooooow covers. She can sing her new, original song with along something other than ND and hymns. If she keeps singing a track list like she did at 54 Below, well, good luck to her. I'm game if she is. But will her cc fan base buy tickets for that, other than a handful of OTTs? She doesn't currently have a fan base to replace them if they aren't interested.

Well, I do agree she should mix in more SOLLA songs....I was surprised she didnt. I wonder if it's so bad, she couldnt even afford a drummer for the 54 Below show...those songs need percussion. Lets face it, she appears to be in a tough spot, concert-wise.

But Jackie's parents were raising her up right Keeping her grounded (What ever that is supposed to mean) unlike those Z-Girls that will become socially awkward. The 4th of July is a time to party with your friends it good to see both Jackie and Kenzie partying with their friends on the fourth of July. http://instagram.com/p/C9BPYGdpwTP Kenzie's 4th party She even paid for a catering company to feed her guest. http://instagram.com/p/C9BSe62P1V- http://instagram.com/p/C9DmPyVy-NF I don't know who all's there but some of them must be very well known like the girl in the brown tea shirt has 16.5 million instagram followers and 42.3 million TikTok followers. Almost all the videos and pictures coming from the party is from people that were there. Like I said if Jackie was really doing thing others would post it.
I am sure to Gen-Z Jackie must look like the most boring person in the world and it shows on her social numbers. Jackie may be able to work with someone over 60 on stage but she will never work with any one popular today unless she can turn things around. And having a platform based on all negativity is not going to win anyone over.
A little bit judgy, aren't we? I'm sure that Maggie is fine company on July 4th. lol Besides, some people dont hang around people their own age, drinking and partying when they are in their 20s. I sure didnt...couldnt stand being around most people my age and I sure as hell wasn't a partier or someone who had any interest in hanging with groups of people To each his own. If Jackie prefers going somewhere with a friend or family member instead the images you posted, good for her. A lot of people do that as well. She's conservative and pretty introverted (and cautious). And what social life she does have, she keeps private most of the time...any normal friends or dates or extended family members likely want nothing to do with the limelight and want to be kept off camera. I was a bit like Jackie when I was younger and perhaps a bit anti-social. Many of my peers were either clubbing, partying, or smoking pot - so I avoided them and sought out relationships with older folk since they seemed more stable. Jackie's behavior towards her peer group isn't odd at all. Young people can be unpredictable. It can be easy to get caught up in circumstances beyond one's own control when some bad eggs are amongst the crowd.

Of the 3 originals from Awakening, I think Take Me There was probably the most catchy, and Open Fields of Grace was probably not the worst, but the least best, at least as a song. (I attended the filming of the special, so I've heard all the Awakening tracks live, including the Say Something duet that was only on the special) A Thousand Years, she previously did as a duet (both parts in Italian), and makes more sense as a duet anyway. What about these? The Lord's Prayer Ave Maria How Great Thou Art Meow Jackie really raises her singing to a new level when it comes to performing religious music, so those songs can stay. These might raise a smirk or two, but these songs can be added to the ones I'd like to hear in concert: -Teaching Angels How to Fly -She Knew -To Believe -All of The Stars -Go Time -Pie Jesu

You think you are funny Jackinator, well you aren’t! I love ND , ITS A POWERFUL SONG, DON’T ASK ME WHAT ND STANDS FOR , YOU FIGURE IT OUT ! You picked out other great songs that should be retired! I am glad you are not making the decision! Well young man, I know what ND means, but after hearing Jackie singing it so many times, its power has lost its ability to affect me. I wasn't being funny, just truthful. If you don't like my list, feel free to make your own.

Wow! She looks and sounds like a drunk karaoke singer. It's even worse than I expected. Incredible that the place was even half full.

I suspect that the reason Jackie is not playing with a band is that she no longer has Greg Camp helping her to put one together. Not that she isn't working with him when the label needs her to, but she gets charged for his time. The EP is released, which means no more Greg Camp until she needs a producer or director, so there is no more band unless she can afford it.
She can form her own band, but it's not something she would know how to do without a musical director making it happen. Again, $$$. If there's truth in any of this, then it suggests that Jackie is either low on funds, or reluctant to spend any (*coughcheap*).
To afford a band you need to have the revenue to support them. If you have no gigs lined up, you have no revenue, and therefore no band. So, you just released an EP full of songs that need keys, bass, guitar and percussion, but can't afford to play it anywhere. Not to mention that the songs themselves cost Jackie money in publishing fees, royalties, etc.
Did she bite off more than she can chew? But even if she just went back to doing the same old stuff, she still has to cough up fees even for O Mio Baboring. So she picks the cheapest songs (Lisa commented on song costs), and the result is, well, less than ideal.
I still think there's a cheaper alternative: she can form a band for below-scale from music students at Penn or any number of colleges that are full of starving students. I also still think she needs to be in a band and GIVE UP trying to be a Name in Lights that draws people. Blend in and start over as (Name of Band). Truly start over. Let the label contract expire. Band in a van. Be free. Dare to make or break.
One of my favorite bands just came off of a no-album tour (last album in 2019), which included sixty dates in 2024 alone. The last two shows were in Boston and Philadelphia with sold-out capacity of 2600 and 1300 respectively. They are virtual nobodies in the grand scheme of things. No one I've ever mentioned them to has heard of them. But they sell out thousand+ seat venues every year. It's because they're a good band. Good bands are in demand. I've been saying this for years, but Jackie wants the spotlight, and everyone around her thinks that JME magic can still happen. Nope, join a band, make a living.

You looked at the name of this thread but you forgot to look at the name of the forum in the big picture all the way at the top. Again..create JE threads…but this is a General Discussion Entertainment!!!! thread…a post about a strip club party would be more on topic than 99,99 % than all the JE, Ziegler posts on this thread General discussion means general discussion..about entertainment in this case …discussing boring JE family issues..or posting rich white trash teens pool, bikini posts is not entertainment.. I could have posted last week photos from a bachelor trip before a wedding of one of Emily‘s female friends..but I thought..that is not entertainment..but working women having some fun.. most of the photos were made by the CIO digital of Fox Model Agency…so. yes…Emily is also wealthy, has rich friends..but in contrast to the Zieglers they work…in normal life… When you get promoted to the moderator, you can make that happen. Don't you have a Jake Collier forum you can go hang out on?

What about these? The Lord's Prayer Ave Maria How Great Thou Art Meow I can't tell whether you mean she should drop those, or do them more; not like she's done all three recently. Given the story for why she sings it, she may not want to drop How Great Thou Art; and the story makes it something people would likely accept even if they were militant atheists (remember, heck is kept uncomfortably warm for them). But more than one religious song in a set IMO depends on the venue; some locales may not be interested, others would very much appreciate it. I've clearly seen the latter reaction in some PA, NJ, and I think OH and MA venues. In venues where more than one religious song would be well received, I wouldn't hate switching the Vavilov(misattributed to Caccini) Ave Maria for the Bach/Gonoud one she sang on AGT; the latter feels just a bit more cheerful to me. The other one she's done is the Schubert (at the Houston concert), and that one gets used too often for funerals. Either that or the version of The Lord's Prayer she's done (and certainly NOT done much recently), which is vocally dramatic. Fun would be if she'd learn the Sister Janet Mead (Australian nun, this one got radio play back in its day, and it would be more appealing to younger listeners) version of The Lord's Prayer, and use that occasionally just to surprise people; but that might require at least the backing track of some Aussie musical instruments.
