A Rich tax lawyer in India who thanks to him: Jackie likely made the equivalent if she performed seven more Winery dates and perhaps more. Agreed. That Winery tour was a bust.

The winery tour was busy because of lack of advertising by the Jackie team! People won’t show up if they don’t know about it!

David Foster! He already tried with DWM but nothing came of that one-off. He had her in his show a few times but nothing came of that either. Will the future bring anything more? Almost unheard-of for anything but rock/pop/country/some cRap to top the main chart. So expecting that is expecting a bit much. Yet DWM debuted at number two on the Billboard Top 200. So, not bad. Not as much as Sony wanted, given that Heavenly Christmas was an addition to rake in more $$. But that means that either DWM and promotion was very expensive (yes), or that Sony (and big labels in general) is a bunch of greedy bustards (yes), or that their expectations were unrealistic (probably). All the folks that say spend more on promo, ok yeah; but there is apparently a point of diminishing returns probably well below the level of spending that DWM got. (not that I'm complaining, the DWMIC video was a treat!) Like something else, it's not how big (whether dimension or spending), it's how effectively it's used.

I think that Jackie is at her best when she sings music of a spiritual nature. Whether she should have produced a CD full of religious music is debatable.
IMO, a Jackie gospel album, would have performed well. Songs such as "Angel", "Ave Maria", O Holy Night", "The Lord's Prayer", "Pie Jesu", "The Prayer", are among her top most viewed videos on Youtube. She has had some success with Christmas music, and a gospel album would have appeal to her existing fan base. It makes me wonder if such an album would have any more or less marketability in Europe.

It's true that she sings that sort of music the best.

If she can't get a new concert to perform at for the general public, a birthday gathering like this isn't too bad at all.

It's called taking what you can get, wherever it is. I'm glad her normally full calendar just happened to have that date available. How fortunate for the client. Disingenuous passive aggressive schtick over multiple posts as usual and the manipulating of colt and johnnyb. Her job is simply to show up and sing. She doesn't owe you anything. The minute you think you are entitled to anything, you aren't. Now get off the internet and get back to selling them used cars. Getting testier these days I see msims.

According to ghost: 818 Tickets sold for the December 3rd concert. 715 Tickets sold for the December 4th concert. meh... I want to see what those numbers look like in November.
