Even if it won't be much of a career boost, it'll give her something to do and while keeping busy she'll forget about all of her troubles for a while. She'll get to sing some of her songs to a new audience, she'll get to travel and hang out with musicians and have some fun, so it's all good. And it might lead to other offers as an opening act. Gotta start somewhere. It's overall a positive move because her career certainly needs a boost in the right direction. |

I guess it can't hurt. lol Doing something is more interesting than (to all appearances, perhaps not the reality) not doing something. Working with people in a genre she wants to get into can only help. It is at any rate a learning experience. I wonder if some feedback from Rachel being perhaps reasonably comfortable with the band she's in wasn't an influence. Or maybe not; the lead time on this may have been longer. |

Many a current Jackie fan are aged and don't even know what spotify is and couldn't care less about Taylor Swift. Jackie already made her nut in India, has already sold over 300 tickets for the Nov gig, will be making some pina colada money as a supporting act and she gets to do what I think shes wanted to do and many of us have wanted for her for a number of years which is to: perform to a younger audience. Its simply marketing and I think she quietly hired new management, the same management I think got her these gigs, got her heard in stores. Updated:   Attachments:

Maybe you should call Jackie up and tell her what a big deal it is working with Echosmith and how much money she will make. It's been known on this site for over 11 hrs and still nothing from Jackie. Why did Echosmith even tag Jackie on there site. Jackie could at least gave them a like for their post.
They seem to be answering comments but nothing that has to do with Jackie. Sorry but it would only take a few seconds for Jackie to re-post their post on her site. Jackie and what ever management she has are sure strange as hell.

It is healing ❤️🩹 for Jackie to be on stage performing, so I love ❤️ seeing her do this tour! She might make some new friends with the others who are performing!

Sydney Sierota In August 2024, Sydney changed her professional name to Sydney Quiseng, adopting the last name of her husband Cameron Quiseng, and began hinting on social media that she would be starting a solo career. Her debut single as a solo artist, “Wonder”, was released on September 13, 2024. Named one of MTV's 2014 Artists to Watch, she is the lead singer of the alt-pop band Echosmith along with her three brothers Jamie, Noah, and Graham. They released the single "Cool Kids" in 2013. Sounds like Echosmith's lead singer decided to go solo. Could Jackie be her replacement or is she an opening act. Well good news either way.
It looks like she's still with the group at the moment although that may be temporary. They are billing this as the decade tour so it might be a sort of farewell tour for the current group. It also may be that the remaining group might be up for auditioning a singer. Like you said, it can only be a plus for Jackie at this point.
Echosmith performed Cool Kids on the Live Today Show (about 9 yrs ago). They have really good stage presence. |

Sanborn wrote that, she does her set of Solla songs with Anthony Static, not sure if Greg will be there (he will be touring with the Defiant per his instagram as well so he would have to do double duty) and thats before or after the other opener performs and then Echosmith comes out. In theory one could go just to see Jackie and go home. But the majority if not all will be there to see Echosmith as im sure they will purchase the tickets and Jackie fans being older would probably not get tickets at the time they go on sale. Your post about crowd attendance didn't make sense to me, as she is getting the opportunity to perform her original alt pop material to the target demo which is a much younger crowd who happens to like alt pop. Shes complained in the past about the difficulty of getting younger people to listen so finally. |
