www.rutheckerdhall.com/event/jackie-evanchoTampa, FL, March 16, 2019 "Jackie Evancho, the 18 year-old American classical crossover sensation that gained wide recognition at an early age, makes her Capitol Theatre debut! With her upcoming new album and tour, The New American Songbook, the multi-platinum recording artist will match her extraordinary voice with one of most exciting reemerging genres in popular music today. With songs from breakthrough musicals such as Hamilton, Dear Evan Hanson, Waitress, Once, The Band’s Visit, Wicked, and Spring Awakening, and hit films like The Greatest Showman and La La Land, the New American Songbook has permeated mainstream culture – building its already-impassioned musical theatre audiences while cultivating a brand new generation of ultra-engaged young fans."

In April 2015, Josh Groban released "Stages", an album of songs mostly from older long-running Broadway musicals. The album has sold 502,000 copies. The album's song list is posted on Wikipedia. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stages_(Josh_Groban_album)Earlier in his career, in 2007, Josh Groban had charted as the number-one best selling artist in the United States, with over 22.3 million records. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Josh_GrobanFrom the description in the Tampa concert notice, it appears that Jackie's album will be mostly songs from the more recent or current Broadway musicals. I expect that the set lists for concerts in the new tour might also include some of the Broadway songs she has previously recorded and performed in her concerts, such as the Phantom of the Opera songs, The Impossible Dream, Somewhere, etc. The Tampa concert notice is the first time I've seen this detailed information about the new album/tour. As far as I know, as of now, there has been no offical announcement or press release.

I was curious about The Debut so just checked iTunes. All of her other albums list the label, Sony, Columbia, etc., but this one says @ 2019 Jackie Evancho, so it probably is Indie. But what's really interesting is that she's listed as one of the composers for every track, so she must have made at least some changes to all of them. That's probably why she's saying that this is more HER album than any of the others.
It's expected April 12, and so far no samples are available but I didn't expect them this soon. Sometimes samples aren't available until release day.

Sounds like there will be a physical CD after all, that's great. Sales have dropped the last 3 days or so, but until then, the mp3 was selling pretty good. The price is right and that helps. Only $9.49 on Amazon and $7.99 from iTunes.

The CD is available for pre-order on both Amazon and B&N; the latter is $1.50 less than the $12.98 on Amazon, but you only get free shipping from B&N when ordering $35 or more of eligible items. So for a small order, if you have Amazon Prime, that would probably be cheaper.

The price on Amazon will probably come down before release day, and the way it used to work with Amazon, they'll honor the lower price as long as it hasn't shipped.

LEVOY theater Millville NJ 14 Dec 2019 concert levoy.net/event/jackie-evancho/?fbclid=IwAR0jIVXL-0uc6fySOlNeY-NlSg9UU9m8ZbAIY3nS0eoxz6e2j_90hG1qKSU#.XMksvKa8z3U.twitteramazingly someone cleaned up her biography and made it accurate Jackie Evancho: A world sensation when she was only ten years old, Jackie Evancho has moved past the exuberant promise of a child prodigy vocalist, becoming a mature young adult with a clear direction as to where she, as a creative artist, is taking her career as a singer. A career that began with a little girl’s fascination with the film soundtrack of The Phantom of the Opera has become an evolving and enduring musical phenomenon. Since she first dazzled American television audiences at the age of 10 – gaining global recognition with her stunning debut on NBC’s America’s Got Talent – Jackie Evancho has released a string of platinum and gold albums. Along the way, she has also made history – the youngest solo platinum artist … the youngest Top 5 debut artist ever in the U.K. … the youngest person to give solo concert at Lincoln Center … the highest-ranking debut artist of 2010. All seven of Jackie’s albums have hit No. 1 on the Billboard Classical chart. Jackie Evancho’s meteoric rise is already a show business legend. In less than a decade, Jackie has made seven chart-topping albums and DVDs, headlined three PBS television specials, appeared in the film The Company We Keep at the request of her co-star Robert Redford, and tirelessly toured the world, singing for Presidents, other world leaders and her fans everywhere. In addition to her solo success, Jackie has recorded duets with such notable artists as Tony Bennett, Plácido Domingo, Barbra Streisand, Chris Botti, and Joshua Bell.

Has just a few fans and is not a legend to anyone but a few otts.

Let me know when your dancing girls have performed before a live audience of about 100,000 (St. Petersburg), for two Presidents and the Japanese Imperial family, with the surviving two of the Three Tenors, etc. Oh, and a TV audience of over 100 million (the WGT show in China). Popularity as you define it is not the be-all and end-all of existence. Some is needed to pay the bills, but the rest can be measured in a heck of a lot of other ways than how many clicks, likes, and follows someone gets.

With the exception of WGT China, everything you mentioned happened many years ago.

Nothing Jackie has done got any notice, nobody even knows who Jackie is anymore. This will be a very good year for all the Z-girls and friends. Maybe Jackie should dance a little more. We will just have to wait and see if Millie's Godzilla Movie is more popular than that so called WGT show in China that seems to have very few video views. http://instagr.am/p/BxGScOYn15H
