Nothing on Amazon was ever a fan forum. The only agenda on Amazon was to increase Jeff Bezos' net worth. The forums were there to generate buzz and nothing else. When the constant bickering on forums ended up with people being doxed and threatened, it was more trouble than it was worth and Amazon killed it. But that had nothing to do with Jackie. Her forum was just collateral damage. The idea that Amazon wanted a fan forum is silly - they don't care who you like or dislike so long as you buy something. If the Amazon forum was more pro-Jackie at first, that is because her OTT fans would be the most motivated to use it. But OTT fans of any stripe tend to irritate normal fans or fans of other artists. That is why I never understand the purpose of OTT behavior among fans of Jackie (or anyone else). When curious potential fans come to check out a singer and see her fans overplaying their hand and dissing some artist they like, it builds up a resistance to giving Jackie a fair chance. During TMS, I saw numerous comments by Jackie OTTs incredulous that they did not recognize Jackie's voice and chastising them when they asked "Who's Jackie Evancho?" as if she were a household name. They live in an alternate reality. Yes Amazon didn't delete the forum because of Jackie, they deleted all their forums and Jackie just happened to be one of them.

Its just more gaslighting from you and your half twin Donkey. You can say Who to JoJo as well if you're an adult (her audience is kids), to the athletes (if you are not into sports), and any number of the contestants that go on the show but to say to Who to Jackie? The audience/the demo that watches these reality competition shows is the older female demo. The same demo that watches AGT, who would have seen her the previous year on AGT Champions etc. And I didn't screwup, try reading my post again.

I never mentioned you and didn't really care to object to your post except for the opening phrase and that is what I commented on. The only reason I quoted the whole post is because I was on a phone and there is some difficulty for me excerpting from a larger post so it is easier to just quote the whole thing. I edited out everything else once I got to my PC.
I would add, however, that you still have not figured out the meaning of the slang term gaslighting. It actually means to create a false narrative to make the other person question their own recollection of things. It is commonly used by therapists in dealing with abusive relationships. The term comes from the move Gaslight (1944) where a husband manipulates his wife to get her to think she is mentally unwell so as to steal her money. I don't know what you think the term means, but you are quite wrong.

JoJo has a huge fan base, Jackie's has been dying off for years. I think the point of some saying "Jackie who?" is that her real fame was about a decade ago and today, the youngest generation has no idea who she is. If you drew graph lines showing the trajectory of each of their careers in term of fan base size to date, Jackie's line would steadily be declining over the years. JoJo's would be going up up up. Perhaps these illustrations will help you. The first one shows JoJo's graph line, the second shows Jackie's.

Grace is up to something in LA. Her instagram shows her in LA, and getting her hair done by a hairdresser who prepped her for various red carpets, James Corden, Kelly Clarkson, the "Don't Assume What You Don't Know" vid and others.

Calling someone "paranoid" is one of the examples of gaslighting and I have already googled it, but making me question whether I know the definition or not, is again another example of gaslighting. Jackie didn't go on a show that was aimed primarily on the young kid audience, she went on a show where the audience was familiar with her. The fact that she had guested on AGT a number of times (11/14/16/19) and DWTS (12) as well as PBS a number of times, so she has had full exposure to the upper demo that casually watches those reality tv competition shows and primetime. To TMS fans what matters is that Jackie took the show/concept seriously, which was to fool the audience and the judges, she did exactly that and won fans. Its a game show. Oh and Happy Birthday to her. I just hope she does more tv. The reason she was hired to begin with is she brings in the ratings. And btw get this bipolar brat off this thread.
