She didn't have much reason to be more motivated when she was younger, look at what she achieved with relatively little effort, and she was being told that she was the best singer on the planet. Things coming too easy, too young can cause a false sense of security because you're going to be surpassed by some who do work hard. My guess is she now realizes that she does need to be more motivated, make some changes and get some training, and perhaps that's the reason she moved to NY. She's still a high school student so there's time for her to turn things around. |

Look at the line up for the David Foster Tribute at the Grammy Museum September 19,2017 in Los Angeles with the AGT Finale the next day September 20,2017 right up the street in Hollywood. Jackie was back in NYC taking selfies. Adding insult to injury, how does a journeyman like Fernando Varela get this gig while Jackie is back home watching AGT on TV ? Jackie's alleged manager was in LA with Foster and other clients(pictures show them laughing it up back stage at the Grammy Museum Tribute)... Manager Marc couldn't get Jackie a ticket and trip to go AGT live, even if he couldn't get her a performance gig either night? Rick is now an Admin on this forum. He understands the technical aspects of Proboards and will be working on all administrative issues.
But as far as moderation is concerned, both Rick and I will be doing very little or none. I promised an essentially un-moderated forum so when it comes to moderation, Rick and I will be lonely Maytag repairmen.
Rick has suggested turning on the Shoutbox. Like everything else on this forum, that is up to you, the users. I'm thinking that since we have a Main Forum that functions like a Shoutbox, it will be confusing to have two parallel sections with similar functionality. What do you, the users, think? You will decide this.

Welcome Rick- that's for helping with your technical expertise.
I agree. The shout box is useless here. The main discussion thread serves the exact same purpose, with the benefit posts don't disappear
after a limited time as they do in the shout box. People can go back and look at all the previous posts with the discussion thread. They can't with the shout box - there -if you come by late ,you missed it.

I don't think the shoutbox will be of much use here. The main idea of this forum was to carry on where amazon left off. One thread so everyone knows where to head for.
I'm not sure about having other threads for Jackie, gun control, politics etc, although those are ok as long as we don't get too many. If anything maybe have one thread for announcements that only the admins can post in, with the news of Rick becoming an admin for this site etc, so news doesn't get buried pages back.

I don't worry about things we have no power to stop , what with be will be from DC ,i don't worry about being banned on forums as i will still be there , i worry about my health not from bombs , i built a bunker from a swimming pool  , as far as North Korean goes Mr Trump will tell him cvsdnxvdgf caa sh fnb asndhr tfbvcdsd and $$$$$ and other type of aid needed for your people , so just grow pot to sell to the world .
