Dizzy, I’m not sure why you think people are gullible for buying her tickets or music. They spend their money because they like and enjoy what Jackie is giving them, nobody is being conned out of anything. Jackie delivers exactly what they want. Because they are under the false misconception that Jackie is this sweet little angel who loves and adores her fans, and that she is this fantastic singer that the world just hasn't quite discovered yet, despite her AGT media frenzy. Most people have realized these things are not true. So I call the ones who refuse to accept the facts as gullible. Would you say people in a cult are gullible, Busby? After all, they like and enjoy what the leader is saying, and they freely give him/her their money so they are not being conned, and the leader delivers exactly what they want. Right? LOL! Disappointed, your Jackie bitterness stemming from being a disillusioned ex-Jackie fan is really showing today. lol As a Jackie fan, I can tell you her voice and personality while performing is exactly as advertised. Jackie's been around long enough that fans know exactly what they will get with a Jackie performance, so their is no "con" involved. As far as who she is behind closed doors, we've had a lot of peeks at that, but of course none of us knows for sure...including you. I think it's pretty clear though that Jackie is a sweet person in general...12 plus years of seeing her in endless interviews, endless performances, endless behind the scenes footage, and endless comments from people who have worked with her can attest to that. Several years back she released a series of "Getting to Know Me" videos on her YouTube channel. Those videos didn't help her career in any way, and they weren't meant to...she just genuinely wanted to share some of her personal life and thoughts directly with her current fans in those videos. Someone who doesn't love and appreciate her fans wouldn't bother with any of that. Here are a couple of examples: Do some fans annoy her from time to time, or might she make the wrong choice in how she communicates to fans sometimes? Sure. But I think she loves and appreciates her fans. |

Sure, that's why she ignored them for a year when they wondered what was happening. And why she said she didn't care about her religious fans as she would replace them with gay fans, then when she got some gay fans, she sang for Trump who had an anti-gay agenda. Her new song posted on her channel only has 12k views in the last 5 days even though it got some online publicity. At first it was a demo but then she add the reset, this is the complete song. She posted a demo of the song not the song itself. A demo is not meant to represent the final version of the song and Jackie has said that she will release the song as a single for the holidays in 2023 At first it was a demo but then she add the reset, this is the complete song. She's always made it very clear if she had to choose between her family and her career, she'd walk away from her career in a heartbeat. That just shows her priorities are in the right place. And if some religious folks don't want to be her fans anymore because of her sister's "transformation", well, to be frank, they can go f*** themselves, to paraphrase immortal words of Lisa Evancho. True, she could have said nothing. But she doesn't have a lot of comments on her Instagram (so she can't pretend she doesn't see the comment), and when someone suggests that word has it that Jackies either pregnant, in a treatment facility, or retiring from the business...she probably felt that saying nothing when directly asked would only fuel the speculation that one or more of those things might be true. In other words, I think she was just trying to help in a situation where she wasn't allowed to give out any real information. The bottom line is that Jackie was obviously told about these communications and the rumors that were going around, and she knew full well that fans were wondering what was going on, some very worried, some thinking the worst, others speculating about possibilities. But she did NOTHING. No one line statement on social media, no getting someone else to provide a statement, NOTHING. Why? Because she had no money at stake, no albums to sell, no concerts to peddle tickets for. So no benefit to her. And she couldn't give 2 hoots about her fans, despite what they want to fantasize. The only reason she finally said anything was that she realized her "career" was headed even farther down the dumper, and she had an upcoming album and she hoped to book concerts and sell more tickets to gullible fools. She was right when she said that Jackie was "taking time for herself, and that she would give an explanation when the time is right" a lot of fans did say that Jackie didn't need to give explanation. True, but again, she was deliberately misleading about her being fine. She wasn't fine. Both our statements about what she said are true at the same time. Like I said, I don't blame her...she was doing her best to respond in a way to try to put her fans somewhat at ease...even though part of what she was saying wasn't true. Juliet shouldn't have said that Jackie was fine, but I think she was in a predicament. If she said anything at all, she should have said that Jackie will make a statement when she's ready, end of, she shouldn't have felt pressured to speak for her. |

Does it therefore follow that she doesn't care about her fans? I would say no, even though it does seem at first glance that she just blew off her fans worries and concerns. Consider what she was going through. Sometimes you can't see the forest for the trees when you are going through traumatic, life changing stuff. Sometimes all you see is the trauma you are dealing with. Thats why those around her should have stepped in and made a statement for her. A car accident with a broken back and worsening serious eating disorder that puts you in a treatment facility is serious, life changing stuff, and thats likely all she was seeing at that time. Survival mode kicks in. Her career had already been largely put on hold anyways with the covid lockdowns, so its not like she suddenly stopped performing...her concerts had all already been put on hold. Besides that, we know that Jackie values her career...why could she vanish for a year without a word and risk damaging it further unless she wasn't in her right mind. Even if you believe that Jackie doesn't care personally about her fans, it's just not logical that she would do that. |

But on the other hand, they were just standing up for Juliet and transgender rights (again, as a way to support Juliet). I'm not saying I support that or dont support it, I'm just saying I understand why they did it. LoL...you just don't want to cut Jackie any slack on anything here...which I view as unreasonable. There were clearly very serious issues at play here with Jackie...huge, life changing, potentially even life threatening issues. If you were being intellectually honest, you would at least have to acknowledge that. I acknowledge that Jackie and Co. blew it with regard to not releasing some sort of statement to fans instead of just disappearing for a year. I am a calm and loving person who does not have meltdowns. I will bring hot cocoa and biscuits to simsy whenever he is upset. He can pet my puppy if he promises to be nice to her.
