You repeatedly lied and mislead about the "numbers" only giving the spotify numbers, when you know that spotify isn't the only way to listen to BME. Most of Jackie's older fans do not stream, they purchase and I said that repeatedly. It also doesn't matter really how many streams it has at this point because once the album is released, fans will purchase the album. As of 2022, 84% of the music industry's revenues were derived from streaming. And the number keeps rising. Sales are insignificant and will be even more so in the future. That's why Melody Place (MP) congratulated Jackie on getting 2M streams for COT (even though that is a very low number).That's why MP spent money to hold private sessions with playlist managers in LA and NYC to publicize BME and Jackie's other originals. That's why MP is spending money for Jackie to perform her originals at the big junket in Napa Valley for playlist managers and other digital platform executives. MP knows streaming is the key to future of the music industry. Only old fossils buy music instead of streaming it. The new pop fans that Jackie so desperately needs will stream her songs. The old fossils are irrelevant to Jackie's future in alt pop. If Jackie can't appeal to new young fans, her pop career will crash and burn. That's why I have no interest in anything other than streaming. Because everything else is irrelevant. And people who travel in areas with poor cellular coverage, of which there are still quite a few. They're going to want a purchasable download, independent of a subscription that doesn't do them that much good anyway - even if the streaming service supports temporary downloads for offline playing. |

And people who travel in areas with poor cellular coverage, of which there are still quite a few. They're going to want a purchasable download, independent of a subscription that doesn't do them that much good anyway - even if the streaming service supports temporary downloads for offline playing. I don't understand. As you yourself mention, streaming services support downloading songs for offline playing. Why on earth would anybody ever need to buy songs? How is downloading a song from a streaming service for offline playing any different from buying and downloading the same song? |

I don't think to many said her singing career will totally end. She will always get a few gigs but not any large concerts and no big tours. |

Doesn't sound from this like she has much singing talent. Very gimmicky...voice mostly masked by reverb, instrumentals and chorus. Still living off her popularity from the reality show I see. lol Jackie's not cool and doesn't have a large following from reality show days...but she is infinitely more talented vocally than this girl. But one thing I'll give you, "Kenzie" can obviously dance far better, and is far more outgoing and likable/relatable with the young masses than Jackie is. Kenzie is no singer...she's a dancer and a former reality show personality. Kenzie doesn't even mention Dance Mom she was 12 years old when she left. It was just a stepping stone. Since she left she now has 14.8 million instagram followers, 3.76 million youtube subscribers and 25.3 million TikTok followers. A lot more people think she is more talented than Jackie. She has far more streams than Jackie, her video get far more views. Plus Kenzie doesn't have to live with her dad and buy her own house.
Right now Kenzie and Maddie have their brand in all American Eagle Stores. American Eagle invested a lot to make and put their line in all 1000 store with their displays plus their on line business.
When ever Jackie goes head to head with Kenzie. Jackie falls way short.

If it doesn't work out, Jackie still benefits. She gets to see her original lyrics put to music, get produced, and get released to her fans. And she gets the therapeutic value from it, being open about her mental struggles. Even if these songs flop commercially, it's still a big win for Jackie personally. I'm not sure, but I think you have to PAY streaming services if you want to download songs, and a lot of people still just use the free services, at least legally. If that's the case they'd have to pay for individual songs that they want to download. |

I will assert that this upcoming album is her first serious attempt at releasing her original work. She has an established song writing pro helping her write the music and produce it...albeit his hay day was back in the 90s, and this next album is to be ALL originals. I do think the chances of finding a new audience or significant commercial success with this album is low, however, she needs to take her shot at this point. And, its something many on here have been saying she needs to do for a long time now. Well, here she is doing it. So many here should be cheering her on. lol |

Jackie is a FAR better singer, but she isnt very popular today. Interesting dynamics at play. I think comparing Jackie to Kenzie, from a singing perspective, is largely folly. Kenzie isn't a singer...Jackie is. Kenzie is a former reality show star, Jackie isn't. Jackie's fame came from singing. Kenzie's fame and current success comes from being a dancer on a reality show. Not many here will be cheering Jackie on in this forum because this isn’t a fan forum, I am a Jackie fan as well as Donkey and the delusional msims is but I don’t know who else is a Jackie fan ,those that are please say so! I am polling forum members to find out it anyone is a realistic Jackie fan !
