ROFL Now, if someone wanted to give her a constructive idea and was really nice about it, nothing wrong with that. I think Something News' post was somewhat supportive of objective fanship. In other words, I believe the post was encouraging objective fans to bring their views to social media sites. The last sentence in the post read: "Maybe she would like to see some honest analysis instead of the same old thing that she has been reading for 15 years." For me, the post implied that Jackie might be tired of hearing the same comments and might be open to constructive criticism on social media sites. Edit - I think the post was less about gush posting on social media and more about encouraging constructive feedback |

Disappointed will never be happy unless everyone hates Jackie as much as she does To you OTTs, Truth = Hate, that is your theory. What is true is that I will be happy when everyone sees the truth about Jackie, which many already have. But there are still many fairy tales and false claims to refute. And as I have previously said multiple times, I do not "hate Jackie" though I very much dislike OTTs and their idiocy. And I do think she is quite undeserving of all the praise and accolades she got, mostly due to chance. Alternatively, for you, Hate = Truth. That is, if it's negative, you treat it as true at least by default, even if it can be shown not to be true. And I think anyone that does something with sheer luck deserves some recognition for having done something with it, even if it's not to your approval nor as lasting as some might hope. There are people who would totally fail to do anything with sheer luck too. |

Your time would be better spent curing the folks on youtube and the social media sites. There is an endless supply of slobbering going on there. So if you really care about your cause, spend more time on those sites as you would have a chance to become the great Florence Nightingale of our times. Here, you are stuck in that awkward position of attacking fans when they say something praiseworthy about Jackie and ignoring them when they are critical of her. You are stuck between a rock and a hard place, but the Youtubers, Facebookers, and instragrammers can provide you with an ocean full of lovesick Jackie fans. Those folks are in extremely desperate situations that only your cures can provide. Can't you just see it now, Florence?  |

The producers can eliminate anyone they want and choose the winner. You will never except that the majority of AGT viewers didn't vote for Jackie. If you truly believe that You probably still believe in the tooth fairy. |

Jackie was more mind-blowing, but Grimm's story was a sympathy-grabber. She didn't have to do all 25 stops of the AGT tour (but they couldn't have held a minor to that anyway); she just did 10. But she got a record deal from SYCO, and of course Simon Cowell was the power behind all the _GT shows. |

However I have shown stats that showed her followers count increased after TMS and The River video was put out. Considering Rickky goes on an on about that for years, you would think thats relevant. Jackie's increased social media follower count is important but not in itself. It is important because it implies that she has more fans, who will then buy more concert tickets and stream more songs. Unfortunately for Jackie, the lack of success of COT and 1st two Jackie 3.0 songs demonstrate that Jackie does not have more fans even though the count is up. I strongly suspect that Jackie's increased follower count is an illusion. Social media is unable to distinguish between active followers and inactive followers. Like Rick Olsen, many listeners became fans and followed Jackie because they loved her CC songs. But, like Rick, many fans stopped becoming fans when she stopped singing CC songs and released Debut, COT and Jackie 3.0. Also, many fans have passed away or lost interest during her one year absence. But, in the world of social media, many ex-fans don't bother to un-follow their celebrities so they are shown in follower counts even though they are no longer active fans. So you see an increase in total followers even though the number of active followers has gone down. This is an issue with all celebrities but affects Jackie much more than others. Unlike Jackie, GraceV did not change her genre and GraceV's fans are unlikely to pass away. Here is a concrete illustration. Jackie has 820K facebook followers. So one would think that every new song that Jackie releases would be streamed at least 820K times. (After all, what would be the point of following a singer if you didn't want to listen to her songs?) Spotify has about 30% of the streaming market so one would expect each Jackie release to be streamed 346K times (30% of 820K) on Spotify. However, in actuality as of today, Spotify streams for Consequences (released 2 months ago) and BME (released 4 months ago) are 11K and 44K respectively. So how many of Jackie's 820K followers do you think are active? |
