Even though she hasn't been a prominent artist in the music industry in the last few years, Jackie is still known on the fringes, and to a small degree in the mainstream. These interviews that she's done on the small youtube channels and radio stations are actually seen as lucky "gets" in that niche. Her recent performance on GMA shows that Jackie hasn't been completely forgotten about in the mainstream either. She must be making someone some money somewhere not to be completely dismissed by media companies, so no one is getting paid off. She knows that she soon will have to produce a hit single or big selling album to avoid fading into oblivion. Solla is a very good start with some great songs and now she has something to build on. Spelling Solla as Sola is just one error in a never ending string of mistakes that have been made by either her or her management. This kind of mistake is completely unacceptable after being in the industry this long (or for one day, for that matter). Her management team would have been fired 10 years ago if they worked for any other artist. Jackie (for whatever reason) extends an endless amount of grace to those folks and my guess she does it because she hasn't learned how extend grace to herself. First of all, it's apparently not wrong...it's apparently spelled Solla in some cases. Secondly, there is room for artistic license in putting any name on an album, spelled any way you wish. It's been done before. Thirdly, even it is was spelled wrong, 99.99 percent of people won't know it, or care about it. Fourth, if none of my first three points were the case, then you might have a case. lol So if it can be spelled two different ways, why didn't she just stick with one spelling to avoid confusion. Mabye they are used interchangably, as opposed to Jackie now trying to correct it right after her EP released..THAT to me would make no sense as it would make her look REALLY bad and be very embarrassing. I think the last thing she would want to do is bring attention to the fact that she misspelled it on her newly released EP. If both versions are used however, then it would make sense that Jackie thought nothing of posting something with the one L spelling. |

If it is in fact spelled wrong, and I'm not convinced that it is based on what I found on Google Search, while it would be symptomatic of poor management and simple laziness/carelessness of not checking on the correct spelling, the practical matter is it's not an issue and won't affect interest in her album in the slightest. lol I agree her mgmt has a history of sucking, and Jackie has a history of procrastinating. Examples include telling fans she is going to sell prints of her art soon well over a year ago and never hearing about it again, and not updating her concert schedule on her website, which as we speak still has the April 20th concert date on it and is still missing the 54 Below upcoming concert dates which are occurring in less than two months. She also should have posted that the Italy trip had been cancelled. She didnt have to say why, i.e. "Due to factors beyond her control, the event has been cancelled". Airport Joe got burned on that deal, got his hopes up, sent in the money, only to be blindsided. The Italy trip is also still listed on her concert schedule on her website as if it is still an active event that you can book. That's really just unacceptable. At the very least, it should have been removed. The spelling matters. When a search for "Sola" is used in a search the EP will not show up, "Solla" must be used. THAT is one of the reasons it why it matters. "Solla". The marketing department must have put some thought into creating a unique title for the EP so that it will be intriguing to the customer. To go out and promote the EP with the incorrect title goes 1000% against marketing 101. (Wasn't Mike a marketing major? No wonder they screwed up the title). |

One of those spellings is the one used by the band and the group would look stupid if it used "Gunz" by mistake. The official album name is "Solla" and any deviation in the marketing of that name by Team Evancho is a very dumb error, but at this point, we can only expect more of them. |

Now, if your complaint is that she shouldn't have later made a post that uses the one S spelling, as it doesn't match the valid spelling on her EP...then I would agree, that was a mistake that could confuse people who then will go look for her album trying to use the Sola spelling. That must be what you are saying. That would make sense. I thought you were trying to say she misspelled Solla on her actual EP title. If this is what you are saying, then you are right and I misunderstood you.  lol |

Have you listened to her new album? I think it's actually quite good, especially for her first try at an album of all originals. Now, if your complaint is that she shouldn't have later made a post that uses the one S spelling, as it doesn't match the valid spelling on her EP...then I would agree, that was a mistake. Mabye that is what you are saying. That's partially what I'm saying. But the one L spelling should not be be used either before or after the release because a correct spelling is important in marketing any product. Now that I fully follow what you are saying, I agree with you. It appears to be a typo on Jackie's part. Agree that was a careless, really avoidable mistake. Jackie said to feel free to DM her about what we think about her EP. I just DM'd her and pointed this out to her. Let's see if she corrects that post. It does make one curious who is handling her social media. What made this error so glaring was the size of the letters "sola, sola, sola" embedded in the post. If I was a cazual Jackie fan, I would assume the title of her CD was Sola only to be confused when later finding out it is Solla. |

I wish she would work with PBS again! You really don‘t get it..it is not about her wishing..she is a nobody..relatively..PBS has no interest in working with her..same as big podcasts whatever have no interest..there are thousands of musicians in the USA who are now the same level..even are far more.. It is ridiculous to compare her to Rodrigo etc. .. same as comparing European farmer team football players..or even third league, 4th league. to Travis Kelce.. If there was not her AGT history.. as a kid.. she is an amateur…like Anastasia Lee…nothing professional.. there are thousands of higher quality produced EPs every year..by amateurs |
