Now that I fully follow what you are saying, I agree with you. It appears to be a typo on Jackie's part. Agree that was a careless, really avoidable mistake. Jackie said to feel free to DM her about what we think about her EP. I just DM'd her and pointed this out to her. Let's see if she corrects that post. Who knows if she will read my DM, but it's worth a shot. If she does read it, she will no doubt correct it as it's an embarrassing error. LoL Cool, I hope she gets back to you about that. It does make one curious who is handling her social media. What made this error so glaring was the size of the letters "sola, sola, sola" embedded in the post. If I was a cazual Jackie fan, I would assume the title of her CD was Sola only to be confused when later finding out it is Solla. Yup, it would be confusing. It's a really careless error...even if there were two acceptable spellings, it should match the spelling she used on her EP. But it appears that she went to the same website I did for the definition and just spelled it wrong...3 TIMES...when she retyped it. Rather odd. lol |

That is just one of the problems that has hurt Jackie! The oldest was jealous of Jackie , didn’t like all the attention she was getting! The jealousy theory is IMO mostly unreasonable. Jacob/Juliet appeared on stage with Jackie twice (once at a live concert, once in the MOTM PBS special) and in one of her fancier music videos, too (Writing's On The Wall). And Jackie called J/J her first (or strongest, I forget the exact wording) supporter. |

A lot of venues, and at least some performances at them, are partly subsidized by having non-profit status, so tax-deductible donations can be made to them. Half the people here that complain about that, complain against it, rather than wanting more of it. I can see arguing it either way, but I just don't want to hear arguing both ways without end. |

Disappointed thinks anything Jackie sings is crap ! She will never 👎 give Jackie praise fo her singing of any song 🎵! So I don’t really care what Disappointed 😔 thinks ! Her Debbie Downer attitude is kind of funny and provides a few laughs. We all know that Jackie could create a masterpiece only to be crapped all over by Disappointed. She reflects an unpleasant side of humanity that we all have to some degree. It was pretty nice around here over the last couple of months, but we have a lot of 💩 posts to look forward to now she's back. Welcome back Dizzy! |

Oh and by the way, Zero, you should have been turned into a tennis racket long ago. Not sorry to "disappoint" you, but catgut was never from cats, but from the highly processed small intestines of larger animals slaughtered anyway (sheep, goats, cattle, sometimes pigs or horses). Just like sausage skins were. Or chitlins (usually from pigs), if you're into that. So no actual cats were harmed making tennis rackets, or violin strings either. |

The spelling matters. When a search for "Sola" is used in a search the EP will not show up, "Solla" must be used. THAT is one of the reasons it why it matters. "Solla". The marketing department must have put some thought into creating a unique title for the EP so that it will be intriguing to the customer. To go out and promote the EP with the incorrect title goes 1000% against marketing 101. (Wasn't Mike a marketing major? No wonder they screwed up the title). They didn't screw up the title...time to admit you are wrong on that. Jackie did look it up and used the exact website that I found using the exact definition that is on that website. Solla is a valid spelling as is evidenced by this link. That's partially what I'm saying. But the one L spelling should not be be used either before or after the release because a correct spelling is important in marketing any product. I wish she would work with PBS again! You really don‘t get it..it is not about her wishing..she is a nobody..relatively..PBS has no interest in working with her..same as big podcasts whatever have no interest..there are thousands of musicians in the USA who are now the same level..even are far more.. It is ridiculous to compare her to Rodrigo etc. .. same as comparing European farmer team football players..or even third league, 4th league. to Travis Kelce.. If there was not her AGT history.. as a kid.. she is an amateur…like Anastasia Lee…nothing professional.. there are thousands of higher quality produced EPs every year..by amateurs And Europeans (esp. from one particular country, I should know, I have ancestors from there, have lived there, and have seen how a lot of them were) are prone to be credential-oriented snobs, quite incapable of imagining anything good that some recognized authority hasn't already endorsed. A history of monarchs and Popes (and some dictators) has ruined their ability to think for themselves. Not all, but if one of them acts that way, then that's a clue which sort they are. |

Her music is all awesome, even if it's not all my favorite. Even when she sang a bit of the phone book (really!) as a joke, that was far better than anything you'd ever admit to. Even without enough formal training, even with imperfect breathing, she's one of only a few (including some with far more training) with good enough natural pitch to never hurt me. There, happy? You must never have encountered the expression "if you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all". I'll now look for whether there is a way to totally ignore some posters. |

In germany in fall 2011, she had the opportunity to go on Carmen Nebel but instead was busy shooting a movie with Robert Redford. BME gained traction both on tik tok and on AC radio, and shes been seen at industry events. That is a big effing deal. Alot of her success was driven by TV specials and guest appearances as well as touring. It can be done but what the plans are we don't know. |
