Sometimes you people get so worked up about what someone else posted. Calm TF down for FS. Our little corner of the world is so insignificant that these arguments sound like squeaky little mice arguing over a pizza in a steamy wet sewer pipe in Manhattan. Just let things be as they are. Jesus Christ. It's not that important. Jackie wrote some songs, they got recorded, and they're available to download, stream or purchase. Pick one and STFU and listen. Dang, settle down DECON 2. lol These are the kinds of conversations we often have here. We discuss, we often debate, and usually over things that are hardly earthshattering. Not sorry to "disappoint" you, but catgut was never from cats, but from the highly processed small intestines of larger animals slaughtered anyway (sheep, goats, cattle, sometimes pigs or horses). Just like sausage skins were. Or chitlins (usually from pigs), if you're into that. So no actual cats were harmed making tennis rackets, or violin strings either. You're missing the point. I never said it had to be a good tennis racket. LoL...if Disappointed were a cat, she'd be Grumpy Cat. |

Her Debbie Downer attitude is kind of funny I'm Tammy Truth-Teller. Debbie is my second cousin. We all know that Jackie could create a masterpiece only to be crapped all over by Disappointed. Jackie will never, and has never, created a masterpiece and never will. That's the main reason I point out that she never was musically talented or gifted. She was a child who could mimic opera songs, and happened to be in the right place at the right time, as opposed to other children who could do the exact same thing but weren't fortunate enough to have the timing. She reflects an unpleasant side of humanity What side is that? Up front honesty? LOL. LoL...saying Jackie isn't musically talented/gifted is like saying Disappointed isn't a big sour puss, or that she loves Jackie and her music. So silly. |

Just purchased the EP a while ago on Amazon for $5.99. Just finished listening to it and I Loved it! Much more rock edge. Really hope shes able to tour on this EP. Yep it's great. Probably not enough songs to tour on, but ya gotta hope she performs these songs with a real good band and not with some cheezy background tracks Like we've said before, and like she will do at her two 54 Below shows at the end of June, she will continue to do a mix of old and new music...at least until she gets enough original material to fill up a whole concert...probably even beyond that. |

Its a chance to try out new stuff in front of an audience, but her fan base wants the classic Jackie music as well and she has no fan based developed yet for just new, original material. |

Last time in 2022 they had to combine nights due to poor ticket sales. Will that happen again, or will they sell more seats...enough to justify two nights? |

The problem is that popular songwriters don't come cheap if they're paid a flat fee. Well-known writers want to write for well-known singers who are going to earn the big bucks for them by either selling a lot or big time streamers. But unknown writers who are just starting out might have some real gems just waiting for the right singer. Is she even looking? |

But with a couple of the better songs from 2HpII and one or two from Awakening and The Debut, a mostly pop concert (with some of that pop familiar enough to existing fans) could be put together, even if it still needed one or two moldy oldie non-pop songs (as those with an all-pop view would imagine them) for a total and for existing fan service. |

And the problem is that dumping them and cutting over entirely to pop all at once won't work. Not until she's well enough known for enough pop songs that having enough more to fill a whole concert would actually fill not only material but seats. |
