Just go to his site and click on the big circle with his face at the top of his page. Thanks. I never knew how to find Instagram stories.

I believe Instagram stories exist for only 24 hours. So did Maurice Benard only promote it for 24 hours? It is still on his stories but I don't know for how long that is why I post pictures of someone stories. Just go to his site and click on the big circle with his face at the top of his page. It the last segment of his stories.
i just checked Maurice's Instagram stories. His promo for the Jackie interview is still up. There is a notation at the top that says "20h". I believe that refers to 20 hours and Instagram stories only last 24 hours. So I will check again after 5 hours and if I am right, the promo story will no longer be there.

it's subject to objective evaluation (approximately repeatable by different people capable of it) if there is general agreement on the method of evaluation. Your entire argument is based on the existence of general agreement on the method of evaluation. And that is the flaw in your argument because no such agreement exists. Art is, and has always been, in the mind of the beholder. The only general agreement on the method of evaluation is, in the words of Justice Potter Stewart, in his now famous statement on pornography: “I know it when I see it". The same applies to everything artistic.

Jackie will have no problem doing what she wants. She's had lots of problems and that will continue. Will she get what she wants? Maybe, anything's possible.

I'd call Olympic gymastics or ice skating artistic, in a sense; there are mandatory components to a routine, but the rest is up to the athlete and their choreographer. There are specific details of correctness or the lack thereof both for required moves and optional ones, and probably something left over for interpretive skills (which might mean looking smooth or explosive according to the tempo and nature of the music, in skating). That with the exception of judges of nations willing to exhibit bias on their own behalf, the judges' scores are usually close, indicates that the method of evaluation IS agreed on. Indeed, it's written down, and the judges have some level of experience before they judge high level events. To some degree that holds for classical music as well, because there are mandatory points of performance and technique as well as places where a limited variety of interpretations would be acceptable, and technical requirements apply to even those. I grant that pop has no fixed standards; or rather, there are still technical differences between getting it right and flat out making mistakes, but even that, many listening wouldn't know or care (I would, i'd cringe at an instrument note that was obviously off even without being familiar with the music, assuming it wasn't buried by other sounds; or at a singer being off pitch); and the rest is not so much interpretive freedom as chaos. I've seen Jackie's visual control slip enough to give a fraction of a second of side-eye to one of six violinists that was a bit off on a note. People with the ears and brain to notice such things DO notice.

She's had lots of problems and that will continue. Will she get what she wants? Maybe, anything's possible. Its up to Jackie what she wants, her goals, and to hire or sign with the people to make it happen. What Jackie wants and what Jackie gets are two very different things. I'm interested in what Jackie 3.0 gets. So far, she's not getting much. In the post-Solla world, she has performed 2 half full concerts in a small venue (54 Below). And another small venue (Stony Brook) coming up in Nov 2024. And that is all. A very sparse concert calendar with the explanation that they are "working on it". Jackie's other revenue source is streams. As of yesterday Fri 7/19, Solla total Spotify streams (with BME1 and BME2) was 473K. A week ago Fri 7/12, Solla total Spotify streams was 447K. So in the last week, Solla had 26K streams/week on Spotify. Assuming that Spotify had 30% of the streaming market, Solla's streams for all platforms would be 87K. At $0.003 per stream, Solla earned Jackie $261 for the week. Considering all the money Melody Place has put into creating and promoting Solla (which Jackie will have to reimburse) is Solla breaking even?

At $0.003 per stream, Solla earned Jackie $261 for the week. I take that $0.003 with a grain of salt, as that is the optimal amount if no other parties are entitled to a cut. But even if that were true, look how much she COULD have made flippin' dem burgers: www.ziprecruiter.com/Salaries/Fast-Food-Salary-in-Pittsburgh,PA

Greg Camp is an accomplished pop songwriter. WAS an accomplished pop songwriter. The last song he wrote that appeared on a significant chart (Billboard 200 or Hot 100) was in 2003, more than two decades ago. You are not a kid born a decade and a half ago. Bruce Springsteen hasn't wrote a significant hit probably in my opinion without googling since the 90's or early 2000's. Forbes recently just said that hes a billionaire and I believe based on two things: selling his catalog rights and touring. I doubt Forbes cared or even had criteria on how he competed in streams against Britney and Taylor clones, who couldnt sing out of a paperbag and they don't have the excuse of being drunk.

But what does that have to do with Greg Camp who hasn't sold his catalog rights and isn't touring?
