Jackie would have had to go live in Europe back in the day were they like that high brow stuff better across the pond!

are we to believe everyone went out an bought the CD yet nobody wanted to see the music video. What you believe is immaterial and this is not a DM forum. Alot of people saw her PBS special which is why ive suggested she do another. As ive stated before: alot of purchases were gift purchases since it was a holiday cd and alot of older folks didn't know about social media at that time. There was no Instagram account either. It's probably safe to say that even if Jackie had dedicated herself to perfecting herself and her voice in the classical music genre, she would not have been able to reach that high status because of the limited number of people that appreciate the genre in the USA. Jackie stated even from her time on AGT, that she was CC. The definition of CC in the UK is different, its more classical whereas in the US it is more pop. DWM was considered a pop album in the UK and didn't chart on their version of the classical chart.

You would mainly pay for the studio time and Greg Camp and, if the latter is on salary to MP (I don't know the answer to that), that is also negated. If Greg is on salary to MP, surely MP would charge the prorated amount to Jackie. Greg can't come cheap. And then there is the marketing cost with all the meetings and demos that MP held with playlist managers and corporate digital consumers. Also the shindig with Live in the Vineyard in Napa in Nov must have cost a pretty penny. I assume Jackie brought Greg and other musicians to Napa and to the GMA performance of BME, that was part of the marketing expenses. Also, cost of overhead can be high in showbiz. As you say, we have no idea what all those costs are so we are in no position to speculate on this. I don't know why Greg wouldn't come cheap. He's new at producing artists outside his own band and is trying to get a foot in the door. Someome like Max Martin or Pharrell Williams wouldn't come cheap, but Greg is in budget at a reasonable price.

Can you point to a resource that differentiates CC in England from CC in the US?

Was this ever posted? Here it is just in case. My take-a-ways:
1. Jackie is still very much in a battle with anorexia and most treatment seems to not be taking 2. Jackie mentions death and the very real possibility of it (1/3 die from what she was diagnosed with) 3. The actor who is interviewing her seems like a good guy, but I found certain parts of the way he comported himself in the interview a little cringe. 4. Jackie is far from well and seems to be enduring more daily mental anguish from it than I realized - very upsetting.

Viola is a french pop song. LS is currently #1 on the BB CC chart.

Do you happen to have an official source that defines what CC is in England and what defines CC in the US?

I think Jackie’s parents are partially responsible for Jackie’s health, it basically started when she was 15 , so we’re was the help she needed back then?

Since Jackie's parents are to blame for everything bad that happened to Jackie, are they also credited for everything good that happened to Jackie?

Because Jackie is oh so great and wonderful.

I doubt there are any many 24 year old girls that would want to trade places with her. Seems she spend more time in interviews telling about her miserable life then she does actual singing. She has a Boat load of mental problem and physical problem. Daddy seemed to have kept her on a close leash maybe until recently.
That last interview she even mentioned her lack of friends.

You hit the nail on the head Richard ! Jackie had such a bright future back in 2010 only to have Jackie’s parents mishandle her career and not help her emotionally development and now we see the end results !
