Brightman was a musical theater performer and did not begin her CC career until 1992. Same year as Bocelli. 1978 or 79 Brightman was singing with a dancing group. Best known at the time for "I Lost My Heart to starship trooper"

Can we even get a full concert of Jackie from someones smart phone even. There were three PBS specials, of which the third they probably did more themselves, since the support they could get from Sony or PBS was declining (as interest was). I was there when that last one was recorded. There are occasional videos of individual songs. Not fancy or expensive, but not amateur either. Some like Safe and Sound were creative using fairly modest resources. Even a low end professional full concert video might be $10k or more, esp. since the venue and everyone else will want a cut too. That leaves very little after everyone else gets their bit. Do you REALLY want to sit next to someone using a phone to record an entire concert? It's distracting; and I don't, and I can't think of many people, not even in their 20s-30s, that would. It can be recorded without distracting other audience members, if you use the right device. I got about 40 minutes of footage (before editing) of the 2022 Nashville concert. I used a gopro with its cover on...no light and very small and barely noticable. However, while I like to share extended footage of a Jackie's concert, I like to leave some parts out...you know, so that if one wants to see the WHOLE thing, they have to pay to go see it. Seems fair to me. Like with the 54 Below show that I remotely viewed and screen recorded last June. I meant to record the whole thing but messed up and only got the second half of the show. Even with that, while I included all of her song performances of that second half in the video I posted on YT, I did cut out her comments and story telling between songs. I feel to be fair to Jackie, I need to leave a little mystery to entice people to actually go to a show and pay if they want to see EVERYTHING. Seems that honors Jackie a little more and seems a little more fair, as in, if you want to see the whole thing, go see her show. But I still get to share a considerable quantity with fans who aren't able to go. It's seems like a happy medium. I've thought about it and just don't think it would be right to post a full concert top to bottom on YT. I'd feel that way about any entertainer, but mabye even more so with Jackie as much as she struggles getting enough people to attend her concerts/shows sometimes.

At one time there were a few brands of video recording glasses. Easy, you just look where you want to record. None of them had stereo sound, though. I'd want that and a stealth mode (indicator lights that do not stay on) and I might give that a try; it wouldn't distract me or anyone else, and it wouldn't be obvious. I agree that posting a whole concert would be excessive. I might however record the whole thing for myself, and edit it to exclude a number of songs but include anything perhaps unique to that concert in what I posted.

I am sure that is how Mike E thinks and maybe he is right that if people actually seen one of Jackie's concerts they wouldn't want to go. Big artist like Taylor Swift and Olivia Rodrigo believe if they actually see my concert on youtube they will definitely want to go to one. Remember Olivia put her entire "Sour" concert on youtube before she even started her first ever tour. Probably the biggest mistake of her career after posting her concert on youtube she didn't have an Arena tour like she did with her Guts tour and pissed off a lot of her fans that couldn't get tickets.
Now she has her complete concert on Netflix shot by a professional movie company and its almost 2 hours long.
I don't think anyone is saying they should have just waited till it was on Netflix.
Hell Olivia even had the Apple company shoot one of her music videos on their new Iphone. That is like saying this is the best phone with a camera to record my concert with.
Jackie and her fans are just way behind the times. The biggest selling point on any of the smart phones is how good their camera is and the people that go to concerts wants the best video they can get.
Oh well we can see what it got Jackie as she seems to be in a race to the bottom of the ladder.

I do generally think that you should go see her live if you want to see the whole thing. Unfortunately, she barely has a fan base left and most people have no idea who she is today. The two shows I posted footage from included considerable, very extended clips...certainly enough for someone watching to be able to tell if they would be interested in going to see her live, while at the same time not giving up everything for free. At this stage of her career however, it probably doesn't much matter either way. I know that some older fans who cant travel to see her really appreciate the footage, but I also suspect there aren't many watching who weren't going to go before, but will now because of the concert videos. If I can ever manage to record a whole Jackie concert, I might post the whole thing if I think at that time that it will do no hard to do so.

Why not ask Jackie what she thinks about that? lol...she wouldn't answer...she rarely does. But if I thought she wouldn't like it, which is the direction I tend to lean towards, I wouldn't do it. In any event, I doubt I'd ever post the entire thing...I don't feel right about it.

In forums its all about credibility which is up to you if you are going to change guest accounts daily then it also depends on intent. Ive asked for the guest system to be removed due to abuse, someone could slip through the cracks without negative intent in theory. But the guests have no credibility due to this. Registered accounts are also trolls, and what I mean by trolling is to further/defend/enable a negative agenda that is meant to sew doubts or fear as well as through manipulation and revising/gaslighting the history of/about Jackie's career and/or legacy as a successful recording and touring artist.A Fleetwood Mac type of supergroup (you didn't seem to respond to that part which to me indicates a lack of seriousness or urgency with your suggestion) where its other stars along with her, not touring in a van either and its not a pop diva type of group. If its like a Celtic Woman type thing where its produced already and she can already just add her CC voice to what is already working, then thats fine but to be completely anonymous I don't know what the point is. If they have traction then it will come out, then it will be seen as some kind of trick or manipulation or really could go backwards and it not help Jackie with future projects. Stay the course is I think the only way to go. Only MSIMS can project intent without proof, make accusations of trolling, mischaracterize, cherry pick, and attempt to discredit, BUT THEN... go on to actually participate in the exchange of ideas. You added your own suggestion, which was all that was necessary. Why do so many of your posts include a pulled-out-of-your-hiney assessment of someone else's character and motives? You also harp on endlessly about how this forum is not being run the way you think it should be run. Such constant negativity is the only trollish behavior I've seen in the thread. Most people that participate in fan forums could care less about credibility. They likely just enjoy the company of others that share the same interests. That probably describes most people here. Since's his entire world view and self-esteem is based on Jackie and how others perceive her, for Sims, everything is about credibility. To maintain his credibility, he must proclaim that everything he says is truth and everthing he says is fact, even though he has to complete complex gymnastics routines to justify his statements. It's a sad place to be, Sims. Be a human for a change, you might enjoy it.
