I'm not sure that is true. I believe Billboard counts 1250 paid streams or 3750 "free" streams as 1 album equivalent. This implies that streaming services pay a lot more for paid streams than free streams. That number is for the Billboard charts or RIAA to award gold records. It is perfectly understandable to count streams for a gold or platinum record more important if someone is paying for it. Just as they count actual sales more than listening on the radio. But Spotify merely divides their total income by their total streams and uses that to calculate what each stream will be paid. Spotify is getting their money either through subscriptions or through ads but they are making their money either way. The same applies for YouTube. You can have a paid YouTube account that eliminates the ads. Don't even bother trying to be logical with eulenspiegel, he won't listen. You can't reason with him, he's always right, he knows it all, maybe because he's a member of the Master Race.

It's really good to see this stuff from Jackie. Smiling, singing, TicToks, and she even painted her bedroom (or maybe she swapped with someone).

Lately has been the first time I have seen her appear genuinely happy in years. In the past, her rare smiles looked forced. She was probably smiling under the Kitty mask too but we missed out on it. It's nice to see her having fun again.

Although it's not uncommon for folks there to imagine* unwritten rules that not only they, but others should follow too. But folks like that are everywhere, if in somewhat different flavors; the best you can hope is that they won't actually try to force anyone to comply, or demand that government do so. * every society has very widely understood unwritten rules; that's not quite what I mean, these are not so widely accepted, and may be the product of particular backgrounds, professional allegiances, etc; or just the product of one person's idea of what everyone else ought to do. For instance, classical purists here and everywhere have their own list of do's and don'ts.

LOL I just mentioned how popular TOKTOK is and Jackie just posted in her stories that she now has a TIKTOK channel. Edit: Here it is if you can't find it. Cute as hell. Jackie already down loaded quite a bit on it.
Too bad there isn't an American equivalent since TikTok is a Chinese spyware app. Are you sure Grace still uses it? I would be surprised after this.

They painted it, I remember seeing on Christina stories something about being bored and she was starting to paint a wall, I remember at the time thinking how dark the paint was. Unfortunately stories only last 24 hrs.

The occasional humorous videos she used to post to TikTok are now posted to Instagram and/or Twitter. That includes the Aladdin video and the Orbit gum video.

Lots of assertions, claims and accusations. But ZERO evidence.

Lots of assertions, claims and accusations. But ZERO evidence. Solid evidence is needed when deciding the guilt of an accused, or approving a drug for use on the public. But in making choices about which social media services, we can apply the looser standards of what makes sense to us. China has proven itself untrustworthy by pouring fentanyl into our country, refusing to honor its agreements and, as the latest example, lying to us about the corona virus. It has also implemented massive surveilence of its own citizens. So it would not be out of line to believe they are using tiktok to keep tabs on its users.

She had said she wanted her fans to see more of her off stage and just giving more of her private life to fans ..she was about 13 then BUT something big ? happened to put that on hold ..can't remember the name of media site but i think it is no longer around ..

Artemis (nee Elena House) posted a photo apparently taken during the time she was filming Stargirl for Disney+.
She had been trying to get the starring role as Karen Bishop/Hawkeye in the forthcoming Disney+ series Hawkeye, but Disney is determined to throw money at Hailee Steinfeld to take the role. I don't think that is any reflection on Artemis' worthiness to tackle the role. Steinfeld is a big name with a very successful music career going and Oscar and Golden Globe nominations as an actress. Steinfeld has also worked with Disney recently on multiple projects. Hopefully, Artemis will not get too discouraged as there will be plenty of roles with Disney+ she can go for in the future.

China has proven itself untrustworthy by pouring fentanyl into our country, refusing to honor its agreements and, as the latest example, lying to us about the corona virus. ... So it would not be out of line to believe they are using tiktok to keep tabs on its users. China has certainly supplied the US with illegal drugs, but no more so than Mexico, Colombia, Central America, etc. But the root cause of the problem is the US demand for these drugs. Unsavory organizations in these countries simply responded to the US demand to make a buck, as all good businessmen would. But if Americans didn't get these drugs from China, they would simply get them from somewhere else. Death rates from Covid-19 are far lower in Korea (192), Hong Kong (4) and Singapore (6) than in the US (12,800+). Apparently China lied, but only to the US. Either that, or the US was in denial and hopelessly unprepared; it seems that optimism is not a good strategy. Tik tok could be the most popular app in the world today. And I suspect it will stay that way as long as its critics cannot come up with anything more substantial than suspicions and insinuations.
