This was one of Anne's posts that got deleted over on Rick's forum. Maybe it is a BLESSING as it motivated the start of this alternative. Thanks socalfan "15 hours ago Anne said(since deleted): I'm not sure both E girls aren't just acting out. I doubt there is real work or projects there for them in NY. Think they want to leave home. Think they learned to be impulsive and not frugal from their parents. Hope they remember what poor felt like. Christopher said: It seems there's no positive reason for you to have any further interest in Jackie." Yasmine responded: The admins (Rick's forum) find "implusive" and "not frugal" to be insults? Does that mean indecisive and frugal/cheapskate, would be complements? Is it not true that Lisa was impulsive calling Pittsburgh critics window lickers? If you what to be open minded to the real world - this post will say here and reconsider reinstating Anne's post. If not, a copy will be over on the new jackie-amazon.proboards.comHave a great day!

Thanks, socalfan, very good idea. It's just too bad this wasn't posted before Amazon US was locked.

Thank you for starting this forum socalfan\Admin. I also like the keeping of a General Discussion main thread instead of breaking down every single topic into numerous individual threads which can be very time consuming in catching up on the latest. That was one thing great about the Amazon's linear format, at least in how Jackie's forum transpired.
I like that this forum can continue the Amazon history of open discussion where participants need not be fans of Jackie in order to discuss her career and that controversial topics can be discussed. Quite frankly I don't see how Jackie's career can be discussed comprehensively and honestly without discussing her parents since they are both such significant factors to how Jackie's career came to where it is today.

I agree, too many threads make it too confusing and time consuming. BTW, did you post on Amazon? I don't recognize the name.

Yes, when Anne's post was deleted, it was clear to me that a fan forum and a critics' forum could not co-exist. I'd like to re-create the unique zany atmosphere of Amazon. I look forward to more of the statistics you post.

It's just too bad this wasn't posted before Amazon US was locked. You are all very welcome. I thought we could all simply migrate to Rick's forum but the atmosphere there is quite different from Amazon.

You're welcome. I agree that it is impossible to discuss Jackie's career without: (1) discussing her parents (2) discussing Juliet (3) kudos and criticism (4) offending some of her fans. We can do it here without walking on eggshells.

Admin at Rick's forum have evidently banned me from posting. LOL. Replied to Christopher simple saying that my ONE post that was deleted was about me wondering about how adult JE might feel about how her talent and how it's management has been handled didn't post.
I'm not posting in Amazon UK because I haven't bought anything with that new account I set up to join with, and I am too lazy to find my old password to Amazon US to sign in that way, as it's likely gone tomorrow.

Anne, have you tried using your Amazon US account? Most haven't bought anything from the UK and their accounts are working.
If you were banned that quickly that tells me that if anyone from Amazon says something isn't perfect, we'll get banned. Too bad for Rick's sake. But he'll probably start posting here when he finds out about it.

You were not banned from our forum. The admin who deleted your posts said it was because you were calling Jackie and Juliet names which is a violation of our rules. It's just as well you guys made your own forum. I didn't like you posting in the guest thread at our forum. It showed you weren't committed to our forum. It's too bad you didn't even give it a chance.

I didn't like you posting in the guest thread at our forum. It showed you weren't committed to our forum. It's too bad you didn't even give it a chance. You shouldn't get hung up about registration. On this forum, anyone can post as a guest on any thread. Or they can register if they choose. Commitment has nothing to do with registration. What matters is the posts that members make, not whether they register.
