Admin at Rick's forum have evidently banned me from posting. LOL. Replied to Christopher simple saying that my ONE post that was deleted was about me wondering about how adult JE might feel about how her talent and how it's management has been handled didn't post. I'm not posting in Amazon UK because I haven't bought anything with that new account I set up to join with, and I am too lazy to find my old password to Amazon US to sign in that way, as it's likely gone tomorrow. You were not banned from our forum. The admin who deleted your posts said it was because you were calling Jackie and Juliet names which is a violation of our rules. It's just as well you guys made your own forum. I didn't like you posting in the guest thread at our forum. It showed you weren't committed to our forum. It's too bad you didn't even give it a chance. Rick, it's only been a day, people need time to find their way around the forum and get caught up reading. |

Anne called Jackie and Juliet " impulsive and not frugal" and expressed pessimism for their NY venture. That is very mild; I think to consider that "calling names" is an overreaction. |

Thank you for starting this forum socalfan\Admin. I also like the keeping of a General Discussion main thread instead of breaking down every single topic into numerous individual threads which can be very time consuming in catching up on the latest. That was one thing great about the Amazon's linear format, at least in how Jackie's forum transpired. I like that this forum can continue the Amazon history of open discussion where participants need not be fans of Jackie in order to discuss her career and that controversial topics can be discussed. Quite frankly I don't see how Jackie's career can be discussed comprehensively and honestly without discussing her parents since they are both such significant factors to how Jackie's career came to where it is today. I agree, too many threads make it too confusing and time consuming. BTW, did you post on Amazon? I don't recognize the name. Yes, but with new forum starting I'm starting with a new moniker  |

This is the main discussion forum. The objective of this forum is to replace the Jackie Evancho forum on Amazon when all Amazon forums are discontinued. This forum will be mostly un-moderated. All posts of every kind are welcome, as they were on Amazon, other than illegal posts and posts that violate the policies of Proboards (our host). The fact that Amazon and Rick's forum successfully ran in parallel for so long suggests to me the need for a music critics' forum. Rick's is a fan forum. This forum, like Amazon, is not. This forum was created to host controversial issues, as well as non-controversial issues. Anne, have you tried using your Amazon US account? Most haven't bought anything from the UK and their accounts are working. If you were banned that quickly that tells me that if anyone from Amazon says something isn't perfect, we'll get banned. Too bad for Rick's sake. But he'll probably start posting here when he finds out about it. I think the Amazon forums will be gone tomorrow. I'll just post here :-). Think there are some questionable mods on Rick's site. |

I think the Amazon forums will be gone tomorrow. I'll just post here :-). Think there are some questionable mods on Rick's site. Yep. They definitely want to restrict discussion to a particular conformity. Which as socalfan alluded to in his message on creating this forum is typical and to be expected of a fan forum. But I think they, or at least Rick, wants to proclaim it's an open forum where one can speak their mind, but as evident by the disingenuous reasons why your posts were deleted, that won't be possible. |

Of course Angelica has the benefit of being fresh off the current season of AGT, but Angelica already has almost 4x more YouTube subscribers than Jackie and is gaining more new subscribers each Day than Jackie gains in Month. Here is something very interesting. I did a random look at AGT alumni Youtube channel subscribers: GraceV 1054K Angelica Hale 319K Jackie Vevo 107K Jackie Official 81K Emily West VEVO 4K Terry Fator 17K Darci Lynne Farmer 2 accts 37K, 51K Forte Tenors 11K I did not look beyond those above but it seems that Angelica has the 2nd highest youtube subscribers of all AGT contestants with a large lead over #3 Jackie. It may well turn out to be that Angelica is the big winner of AGT this year. Angelica's Youtube channel has a lot of content. I suspect that her 319K subscribers have not gone unnoticed by the labels. I wonder if a label will sign her. She may be the next flavor of the month. |

I don't watch AGT, but of the few videos I watched that were posted on Amazon, Angelica was my favorite. The problem is her age.
Jackie was a CC/soprano and she attracted an older audience and did very well, but older people won't buy Angelica's music. She'll need songs that will attract tweens, and not all covers.

Nice to see Mandy Harvey (4th place - this season AGT) getting lots of work -very busy in NYC. Mandy sang the National Anthem at the NY Ranger's Hockey home opener tonight - Madison Square Garden - NYC Earlier today, she taped a segment of the DR Oz Show which films in NYC. Tomorrow she will be on the Today Show -Rockefeller Center, NYC. twitter.com/mandyharveyI'm sure they tried to ask Jackie first, but Marc Johnston was too busy trying to sign up Angelica Hale for David Foster's charity concerts.
