Jame is also welcome to join us Well, I guess all is fair in love and " hating a 17 year old girl!" But, is there a feature on this forum to put another member or guest on ignore? Heck gaucho, we can just mock him to our hearts content or shame him into posting about Jackie. I think I'm gonna like it here.

Rick. I just spotted something that might benefit from your attention. Currently when one "likes" a post, the "like" button does not darken as it does on your other site. This feature shows a member that they have already liked a particular post. I nearly removed a like by clicking like again on a post I had already liked. Fixed it, Agog.

Well, I guess all is fair in love and " hating a 17 year old girl!" TeriJay yes please, Jame Bond no way Jose. I promised a minimally moderated forum and I will keep my word. It is unreasonable to ban someone simply for being repetitive. Perhaps we could persuade Jame to be less repetitive if he joined us. But, is there a feature on this forum to put another member on ignore? Not to my knowledge. But Rick may be able to confirm that.

But, is there a feature on this forum to put another member or guest on ignore? Go to the member's Profile. Click the gear icon after Send Message. Click Block Member. Check what you want to block and click Block Member. The member is Ignored. You can't do this with Guests because they have no Profile.

And if a guest turns out to be too objectionable, he can required to become a member (since we know his IP address).

Sounds too snoopy to me. Don't have a great experience with Rick's forum.

After getting booted sometime ago from Amazon(defunct now) which I have a feeling my old pal cora/Jackie Junkies had something to do with, it's great to be back. Hello bruinsfan and welcome. I never understood Amz's reasons for booting posters. I never lodged a complaint against another poster either. What blew me away was how TeriJay, who sometimes had her issues with other posters but usually had something to say regarding Jackie, and who thoroughly enjoyed participating, was booted, while Jame Bond who was invariably tedious and never about Jackie, but only about other posters who didn't sufficiently praise Jackie, remained to the end. It's a mystery I say. Cjf told me that s/he reported me, she accused me of getting Panda banned so I suspect that's who got several people banned. The irony of it was that Panda didn't bother me and that cjf was banned several times.

Next question; this site and your site are both proboards sites. Why is the appearance so different? Your site looks like the old JEFC site and the "temporary" site looked. This site doesn't.

Yep. I hope TeriJay will come over to this forum and participate. She has different politics than the majority of others who posted at Amazon, but it would provide a good mix. And also she is fairly knowledgeable in the music area and often had good insights on various discussions regarding Jackie. I don't think TeriJay will join here, she lost all interest and has other things going on. We keep in touch so I'll tell her about this new forum.

Agog, I added a little code on the other site to give it a border, and modified some CSS to change colors and what not. I can make this site look just like the other one if that's what you want.

Rick, I have a suggestion. Can you start a techie thread and copy and paste all of your very helpful hints there please? I know I'm going to want to ban people eventually, LOL, and I'll forget how to do it.

The irony of it was that Panda didn't bother me and that cjf was banned several times. I always thought the accusing other posters of having other accounts was silly. Although I'm sure it probably happened, I bet it wasn't nearly as common as the accusations were at the end. Only a few seemed to be formerly banned people as to make it obvious. Others may have better skills than me at spotting these things though. Anyway, this is a new place with relaxed moderation. I think I'll be happy here. I hope everyone else will be too.

I just thought she got a raw deal.
