Thanks Rick. Next question; this site and your site are both proboards sites. Why is the appearance so different? Your site looks like the old JEFC site and the "temporary" site looked. This site doesn't. Because that was the way we wanted to make it look in the hope that former members of Lisa's forum would join but unfortunately a lot of them let their hate for Rick get in the way. Rick was never the censor on his forum, all of his admins were. |

I want it to be known that I am not forsaking our Jackie fan forum to be an admin here. I can do both. I like to help and I like this kind of work and I think I can help. This forum is for unbridled discussion of anything. Our Jackie fan forum is focused on Jackie. The two can coexist and compliment each other.

Agog, I added a little code on the other site to give it a border, and modified some CSS to change colors and what not. I can make this site look just like the other one if that's what you want. Oh. That was a good and understandable answer. Yes, those additions would make all the difference in appearance. |

That is ok i guess if you like the dictator but it would suck if you didn't. Too many people didn't like Rick and we knew that so we tried to remove the fear that they wouldn't get a fair deal. |

I wanted a good group of great fans to oversee it so I set up an admin team. I suffer from severe depression and have mood swings and many people thought I would go crazy. It hasn't happened and it won't happen. My online friends and my work for the fans keeps me on an even keel. |

She made several posts on the Amazon UK forum a few days ago so she may still be interested in joining us. |

Rick was never the censor on his forum, all of his admins were. Most of us long time Jackie fans, and the Jackie critics too, just to be inclusive, know that Rick has serious issues. Some people cut him a lot of slack because the man gets pushed around in his own mind by chemical surges that wildly change his mood and are, but for the times serious medication works, out of his control. That cannot be fun. It must truly be miserable. Some people have taken delight in baiting Rick. Shame on them. When Rick is "off kilter" for whatever reason he often, and consistently over the years, lashed out at individuals and at some sites he participated on when the individuals and groups did not deserve his excoriation. Even understanding and making allowances for his condition, people do not like being kicked in the shin undeservedly. It's not as if across the Jackieverse, people just decided to hate on Rick because his lottery number came up.
Many good fans have been prodded (to put it gently) unnecessarily by Rick and quite understandably did not want to subject themselves to him being a moderator of a fan site they would otherwise have wished to participate in.
It's a two way street. people need to remember and allow for Rick's issues. Rick needs to remember that others have feelings too, and may often lash out when irritated.
