Rules
1. This forum is moderated by Socalfan.
2. As the name implies, only mainstream political opinions will be allowed on this forum. Non-mainstream political posts are welcome on the un-moderated political forums but not here. What is (or is not) mainstream will be determined solely by the moderator.
3. Mainstream political views are views that would be expressed by media such as NY Times, LA Times, Wall Street Journal, Forbes, BBC, NBC/CBS/ABC News, CNN, CNBC, Associated Press, Reuters, Scientific American and other similar organizations. Fox News is mostly mainstream with some exceptions. Mainstream politics is pro science: pro evolution, pro climate change and pro vaccine. Mainstream politics can be liberal or conservative. Non-mainstream posts include posts with conspiracy theories or other theories not supported by generally accepted evidence.
4. Non-mainstream posts will be either deleted or moved to the un-moderated Politics forums. If you make too many non-mainstream posts or non-relevant posts, you will not be allowed to post here.
5. This is an experiment so the rules will be changed as necessary.
6. All suggestions are welcome.
7. Only the moderator can create additional threads in this forum. Suggestions for threads are welcome.

Outlier said he would not use tiktok because it came from a country with an untrustworth government (i.e. one that has lied before). I presumed that he used American products. If so, that would imply he thought that the American government did not lie. OK. Thanks for clarification to me. And a fair point to make considering all that was revealed by I believe that it is sometimes appropriate for governments (and people) to lie if the ends justify the means. For example, if a wife asks: "Does this dress make me look fat?"

My only question about you opening your own Globalist Propaganda Thread is, what took you so long? If it was fear of being outed as a Globalist, News Flash anyone with a working brain has known that for years.

You're funny. You should just say that any comments that you don't agree with will not be tolerated and be done with it.

If you are a true guest to this forum, you may not know socalfan believes he has everyone fooled into thinking he is an open minded, reasonable person. It doesn't take more than a couple of post by him to see through that farce.

I'm saying that Fox has more non-mainstream exceptions than the others. You should just say that any comments that you don't agree with will not be tolerated and be done with it. But the mainstream organizations that I listed publish lots of opinions I disagree with. Consider the presidential debates which have been conducted by the mainstream organizations. So far there have been liberal opinions from candidates like Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren. And centrist opinions from candidates like Biden and Buttigieg. And when we get into the general election, there will be conservative opinions from Trump. Nobody, myself included, could possibly agree with all these opinions since many of these opinions are contradictory. But they are all mainstream opinions aired by mainstream media. These are the opinions allowed on this forum. Your fallacy is in thinking that there is a single mainstream opinion. In reality there are many mainstream opinions, many contradictory, but all of which are welcome on this forum. As a contrast, consider the "Lock Hillary Clinton Up" opinion espoused by some in the non-mainstream right wing. If Trump agreed with that opinion, he would have brought charges against her long ago. But he has not. That is an example of a non-mainstream opinion that is not allowed in this forum.

But it's his forum and he's entitled to be as unfair as he chooses to be.

If that's not obstruction of justice I don't know what is. She should have been locked up. And that is NOT an opinion, it's a fact, one that I'm certain you don't like. If the emails were innocent she would have made certain that they were available in order to clear her.

If it was fear of being outed as a Globalist, News Flash anyone with a working brain has known that for years. I am, and have always been, proud of being a Globalist. I believe the world would be a better place if all nations work together. Covid-19 is a prime example. Rather than seeking blame, it would be far more productive to work together to find a solution. I consider your labeling me as a Globalist to be complimentary. Thank you.

You have missed the point. I am not saying that Hillary did nothing wrong. I am saying that locking her up is not mainstream opinion. And the proof is that not even Trump (a right winger and foe of Hillary) shares that opinion. In 3 years, he has not taken a single step towards locking her up.

How do you know that locking her up isn't mainstream? An awful lot of people would be in favor of it. As for why the President didn't pursue it, think. I'm not an idiot and neither is he. The outcry from the left would be deafening. They'd want to impeach him for it. Anyone who commits a crime like she did should be locked up, and most are.

I believe that it is sometimes appropriate for governments (and people) to lie if the ends justify the means. For example, if a wife asks: "Does this dress make me look fat?" And this "the ends justify the means" was the logic behind WHO, CDC and U.S. COVID-19 task force in not earlier recommending the use of masks by the citizenry. So that the inventory of N-95 and other medical masks, already diminished in supply by China, would be not hoarded by panic buying public and therefore causing limited availability to healhcare and first-responder workers.
