Speaking of moving on, I'm guessing that the idea behind the 54 Below show is to thread the past to the present, to give the impression that there is seamless continuity between her "platinum" past and her songwriting present. That doesn't interest me. I have been critical of her repeated attempts at renewal (Awakening, Two Hearts, The Debut) that never seem to achieve the desired result of increased notoriety, increased sales, etc. By turns, she showed us her glow-up awakening, her divided passions, her Broadway talents, her playful Kitty side, and her long pent-up need for honesty expressed in her new songs. But although each of those efforts deserves their own recognition, it's hard not to look at them collectively as an overplayed marketing strategy: "Hey, don't leave, I'm just getting started. I'm sill famous." And now, the "My Life" 54 Below show just comes across as yet another page in an old and yellowing playbook. Solla was excellent. She should only move forward from there. It's too soon (or too late?) for reminiscing. Jackie's old material is the only reason Jackie is famous, or achieved fame. I agree that Solla was great! She doesn't have much of an audience for her new material thus far, nor does she have enough new material for a full show...not even close. It will be years before Jackie has enough original material for a full concert. If she wants to make money doing shows, she has to combine the old with the new to both draw in what's left of her fan base and fill up the program. You don't toss out the old until you have established the new, unless you are okay with a lot of empty venues for your shows, or not doing shows at all. Besides, Jackie is proud of her career and seems to have no interest in abandoning that music entirely.

It officially went platinum Big steroid users are officially home run record holders and Olympic champions too. Doesn't make it right either. But in the end the public knows the truth. That's why the big "chart topping platinum recording artist" can only fill a New York City club of 147 seats HALF FULL, mainly with OTTs who follow her everywhere, and a few buddies because she lived there and frequented the place for a while. The truth wins out in the end.

How do you explain Jackie’s gold record Disappointed or are you going to begrudge her that too ? You are something Disappointed you spend every waking moment complaining about Jackie’s Platinum album 💿!. You know very well I've never questioned the gold album status. But you also know that only happened due to the big media frenzy and Foster cashing in on the circus act and pumping it up. But the circus left town long ago, Colty, and it's never coming back. NEVER.

The truth wins out in the end. Not until they are busted, then they are stripped of it. Look at Lance Armstrong. He hid it for years. Jackie hasn't hid anything. It's no secret, no cover up, to those who awarded her the platinum title as to what was included. It still qualified as platinum. There's not even an asterisk. You can disagree until you are blue in the face, and you have. But that doesn't change that fact. There is the official record, which is all that matters or counts. Then there is Disappointed's agenda driven opinion, based on jilted ex-fan bitterness. ROFL

If you put 100 people in a room and explained the situation and asked them if that album should legitimately be considered platinum at the same level as full length original albums in the past, 99% would agree with me. But greed and corruption made it so. Still doesn't make it right. Unfortunately, your entire concept of what is right and wrong went out the window when you fell desperately in love with a 10 year old girl.

Platinum isnt based on the size of the album, its based on the number of copies sold of the music. Thus, defining the definition of "going platinum" to the group of people before asking them the question, 100 percent...or close to it, depending on if you were in that group of not...lol...would agree it went platinum. The music went platinum, whether it was 5 songs, 10 songs of 100 songs. They sold the same number of units. That's really the point. If it makes you feel better, don't say the album went platinum, say the music went platinum. lol Even a single song can go platinum.

There are alot of people with over 100k followers. Why does it matter? That doesn't mean their talented. Because talent doesn't pay the bills, popularity does. Jackie is a more talented singer than Kenzie Ziegler but Kenzie always stays above 2 million monthly spotify listeners and I have never seen Jackie even break 200k. Right now. Jackie Evancho monthly spotify listeners 155,446 Kenzie Ziegler monthly spotify listeners 2,215,024 Jackie Evancho global artist rank 53k+ Kenzie Ziegler global artist rank 6000+ Olivia Rodrigo global artist rank 41 Justin Bieber global artist rank 13 Taylor Swift global artist rank 2 Both Jackie and Kenzie did a commercial for Justice Clothing when they were close to the same age. Jackie's "Go Time" got about 255K views . Kenzie's "Team Work" 23 million views Jackie Evancho Instagram followers 101,593 Kenzie Ziegler Instagram followers 14,712,164 Jackie Evancho TikTok Followers 11,000 Kenzie Ziegler Tiktok followers 23,600,000 Popularity means everything, talent only means something if it can get you popularity.

Solla, with 6 songs, is called an EP, not an album. It might be the norm for EP's that sell over a million, to be classified as Platinum albums, I wouldn't know and I'm not interested enough to look it up. lol

It appears that the number of songs/tracks doesn't define whether or not it went platinum...that is defined by the number of units sold. This is merely a discussion on what in fact went platinum. Was it a single? Was it an album? Was it an EP. That's just quibbling. It still went platinum, whichever category of units it falls under. Correct me if I'm wrong, but has Jackie ever claimed to be a platinum album selling artist, or has she just said she is a platinum selling artist...which would be accurate? Her 54 Below ad says this: "America's Got Talent star Jackie Evancho is taking audiences through her musical journey! From her time as a 10-year-old phenom to becoming a chart-topping platinum selling artist, hear the memorable stories and songs that have made her the star that she is today in this beautiful, intimate night out." On Wikipedia, it refers to a platinum selling EP, not album. "Since 2009, she has issued nine albums, a platinum-selling EP and two further EPs; three of her discs debuted in the top 10 on the Billboard 200."

Oh dear, still 72 unsold tickets for the 28th and 64 unsold tickets for the 29th. Just over half full each night. But not to worry, according to Simsy, people will show up in droves 5 minutes before showtime on both nights, climbing over each other to get those last minute tickets. How do you determine the number of unsold tickets? As far as I know there is no seat map. I have tried requesting to buy tickets but it seems that the max request is 9 per order. So if the number of unsold tickets in a section is more than 9, the number of unsold tickets in that section is not disclosed.

Popularity means everything, talent only means something if it can get you popularity. msims will never understand how those two concepts work together.

Jackie Evancho and her music are now, today totally irrelevant..no one cares..only some old white men…

In the US, Apple leads, but globally Android leads.

I never said that Jackie claimed that she had a Platinum album, and of course Wiki called it a Platinum EP because that's what it is. You're the one who asked why should it matter how many songs are on an album.
