OMG!!!! Parties are terrible, having a lot of friends is awful, rock bands are awful, you're different, that's for sure. Actually, he does enjoy a party where people he doesn't like or agree with are stoned to death. Good times! You'd be surprised, I've been to gatherings with people a few of which even had the dreaded TMI disease after a couple of drinks. Nobody got stoned (certainly not with stones, and given random drug tests at work, not with anything else either). But I did cringe a bit at some of the more...unconventional TMI. I'll cut people I know personally a lot of slack, but otherwise there's a whole lot of conduct I'd rather wasn't promoted or advertised.

I was a big fan of Boston, REO, Journey, Styx, Kansas, Head East, Supertramp and many more. Their music never inspired me to worship the devil after spending most of my early life listening their music. Kansas has a lot of religious themes in their songs and they helped many young folk to pursue spirituality. The same was true about Jesus Christ Superstar, an album my brother and I had on repeat. Y'all don't get exaggerating, do you? I don't hate on rock that tells a story with lyrics you can understand and wouldn't be ashamed to tell your parents or grandparents about, and isn't discordant and noisy. Most of those you named are fine (I have seen claims REO is demonic, but I don't think them reasonable), and tell stories. Esp. Kansas did. I like ballads with a big sound like that...but I probably like folk better, most of the time. Saying that "rock is the devil's music" sounds more like an emphatic statement and really can't be interpreted as exaggerating anything. But I get what you are saying. If Jackie produced songs similar to Pat Benatar's or the Bangles, they would likely not lead to devil worship

That's a good choice of sound. It's hard to tell if that kind of music is sustainable out there in the marketplace. It's hard to tell.

You proved my point, shes unprofessional and no you can't rebel as a child. She's not unprofessional at all. Everyone that has ever worked with her and has ever mentioned anything about working with her have had nothing but praise for her. A hypothetical proposed by amg1977 doesn't make her unprofessional. If, however, such a situation did come up for Grace, she would have every right to tell anyone that tried to force her down a path she didn't want to go to "f*** off". Using colorful language doesn't make it "unprofessional"

It is likely over since her altpop phase isn't capturing anyone's imagination. BME 2.0 charted on BB AC. I am going to have concur though with the Guest in the Off Topic thread whos post got deleted, its either that or bath salts or cognitive impairment. I should have included alien in the list. How does anyone whos listened to rock not know about the devil worship stuff?

A hypothetical proposed by amg1977 doesn't make her unprofessional. Exactly. Why didn't you question that hypothetical in the first place and why enable this person who uses your favorite to attack Jackie in some kind of troll game? You dont see Jackie fans doing that on your favorite's forums. Citing Socal's rule when he has no rules except for doxxing thankfully. How does posting her instagram to 3 people help her in anyway and from a so called marketing expert? Say something. This person is unhinged.

I always thought Karen Carpenter was someone’s songs Jackie should work into her concerts, she does those songs very well! I still like the girl band idea đŸ’¡! It takes a lot of practice plus finding other young women to perform with Jackie! Could have a tryout competition! Jackie needs at least 3 others to perform with her!

Grace released a short preview for the video of "Call It What You Want" on Youtube 1. Is this a standalone song or intended to be part of an album/EP? 2. I don't remember but is she putting more effort into promoting this release compared to her other recent releases? A further clarification on my answer yesterday. It appears that after the new single, there will be a two-song single released from Megalopolis. Although not specified, there will likely be further singles prior to the 2025 album release. celebrityaccess.com/2024/08/15/pulse-records-sign-recording-artist-grace-vanderwaal/

Really started to notice the change when she was 15 years old in her song "Waste My Time" I love that song, and the video. The whole Letters Vol 1 EP is outstanding. One of my minor anxieties about the lack a follow-up (Vol 2) EP is that whatever musical-style mood she was in at the time may have passed as her style evolves, and therefore whatever music was made might have been shelved for good. Hand wringing, I know, but I was so pumped by the production on that EP, I wanted more. I think there was some magic that happened between Grace and Ido, so I hope that whoever she's working with now can similarly bring out the magic.
