His working with Jackie will be rare while she's mostly touring with Echosmith (or with anyone else in a similar role). But for her own events, whenever she's not the guest of an orchestra, she'll need someone with similar skills to handle accompaniment either alone or leading a small group of local strings and percussion. He's quite accomplished on the piano, has composed some original instrumental work, and has done the arrangements specifically for Jackie, like the POTO medley. Similar versatility would be required of any replacement. The category of performances that are neither with an established band nor with an orchestra will probably NOT vanish. That's either the fear of those who don't want all pop, or the wishful thinking of those who do. Or the thinking that everyone has to be a one trick (genre) pony. Good as Jorn is, and as much reduced from her glory days as Jackie is, she's certainly gotten him exposure he wouldn't otherwise have. Not only with old folks (some of which can afford a year of venue membership just to get better seats, nice to have exposure to folks with a bit of extra $$ to spend) but in locations he might not have otherwise been at (the birthday party in India of a prominent Indian/American lawyer) which might have enabled him to expand his own connections. So thanks, as well as for her own appreciation of his work, might be incremental rather than final. Could go either way of course. But pop-only is a waste. DF said what amounted to that 14 years ago or so, and it was obvious then and should continue to be obvious to anyone with ears.I assume you're referring to David Foster saying that everyone can sing pop. Well, Jackie couldn't, she herself said that she just discovered her pop voice several years ago. I never understood that, but that's what she claimed. And often her pop voice still pretty much sounds like her CC voice.

Well here is a problem Jackie doesn't have. Tate McRae's "Miss Possessive" Arena Tour tickets went on sale last Friday and now they are all sold out. Leaving many of her fans pissed off because they couldn't get tickets to she Tate and Zara Larson in concert. I guess Zara didn't have any problem doing the extra shows Tate added. Olivia Rodrigo seems to be moving towards stadiums now. Who cares what David Foster says about everyone can sing pop. Can they fill Arenas and stadiums, David Foster will claim anything to promote his new prodigies than throw them under the bus when a new one comes along. http://instagram.com/p/DC2QnSQzGGO

No you wouldn't know that she doesn't have friends because you and Rickky don't have access to her personal life and neither should I or anyone else. But Jackie knows her personal life better than anyone (maybe with the exception of Mike) and Jackie said she doesn't have friends. Nope. The spam has said she has no friends. Have there been any musicians that have either been there for you or mentored you over the years? "No. No, not really. I mean, there’s always maybe brief communication, but no, definitely no close relationship or mentorship at all. It’s so funny. Even my label was like, “Oh, do you have any famous friends or people in the industry and stuff?” And I was like, “No, I barely have friends in my own life.” I definitely don’t have famous friends." Jorn Swart thanked Jackie. That sounded very much like a farewell. Possibly the last concert of this kind. What part of this seems like a farewell to you? credit to ghost at the mice catching club Jackie's had two very successful CC concerts with Jorn this year, Texas and NY. Also cant fathom how a Jaz (the red headed bath salt addicted sociopathic child of Caz) could sit through two minutes of her performance (its all about a career one that all of Caz's variations have minimized or gaslighted over for years). Jackie's not stripping with dirty pillows or butt humping the air for thirst traps or a gap in the teeth. Its just that voice.

I assume you're referring to David Foster saying that everyone can sing pop. Well, Jackie couldn't, she herself said that she just discovered her pop voice several years ago. I never understood that, but that's what she claimed. And often her pop voice still pretty much sounds like her CC voice. That was what I was referring to. Listen to OMBC or anything from any CD prior to Two Hearts part II, and then listen to anything from TMS or CoT or Solla or what she's doing now with Echosmith. If they sound the same (I assure you there's no country twang allowed in OMBC as there was in a few of the TMS songs), then you need your ears checked. Is it recognizably the same person's voice? Yes, for anyone that can hear the memory of that voice in their mind even when it's not playing (I was "could be" at first TMS song - with the unexpectedness of "Dangerous Woman" throwing me a bit, and "definitely is!" by the 2nd). But the style is very different, as befits the different genre. Before Awakening (and in it to some degree), there was some validity to the claim that everything sounded the same; it didn't really*, but the difference might not be noticed by the casual listener. Since then, each genre gets its own sound. A classical sound, even without the extremes allowing un-amplified performance, requires technique different than belting for musicals which is different from pop singing (which is different in accent at least from country). If someone is told that they sound amazing in a CC voice beyond their age (even while not necessarily believing that), they're going to have an uphill time of it and need some help, to find the SAFE ways to do other styles in their own proper way. She obviously had some of that coaching with the later non-CC albums. So discovering is not a bad short description of finding how to do other styles. * as an example, compare the English language songs on DWM or SFTSS with those on HC; the tone is similar, but the pronunciation at least is less formal on the latter, esp. with the two songs from movies rather than the traditional carols.

Jackie's not stripping with dirty pillows or butt humping the air for thirst traps or a gap in the teeth. Its just that voice. You are extremely demented. I don't know what this means nor how it is relevant, but I don't care about your inner world. Don't forget that Jackie's CC fan base is mostly old repressed men (and some women) for whom Jackie is the granddaughter they always wanted but never got. The granddaughters they got are alcoholic, drug addled nymphomaniacs who reject all the values their grandfathers hold most dear. Here's the irony. The post says: "Its just that voice." But that is contradicted by the sentence preceding it which mentions nothing voice-related and talks only about "stripping with dirty pillows", "butt humping the air for thirst traps" and "a gap in the teeth". Clearly it's not about the voice, it's about virginity, purity, and angelic sweetness. If it's really only about "that voice", then would it matter if "that voice" came from a singer who stripped with dirty pillows, butt humped the air for thirst traps and had a gap in her teeth? Why even mention these other things?

Why even mention these other things? Well sure, remember, that was part of the trifecta that led to Jackie's success. The voice, the sweet, innocent, awkwardly endearing personality, and the super cute "angelic" look. Missing any one of those factors would have seriously lessened her success. She was likable, super cute, and had the pure, angelic voice. Imagine if she had been a plain looking or ugly kid, or had the same looks but was a brat, with the same voice. The old people would have run screaming. I can acknowledge that while I always loved her voice, and there could have been no success without that, it was definitely the package deal for me as well. The cuteness level was off the charts, and the personality was SO sweet...and I would always want to root for her when she struggled with her awkwardness. I still do. And there is something attractive to a lot of middle aged and older folks about a conservative, "classy", innocent even ideal "granddaughterish" personality. Sure, that part went too far as some fans would clutch their pearls whenever Jackie wore something the least bit riske. But lets be honest...Jackie is pretty conservative...riske to her isn't very riske in reality. lol

Why even mention these other things? Staller center probably had more women than men. There were groups of women (arranged by one or more organizations, was my impression) in the audience, as well as wives accompanying husbands (one might imagine that in some cases, the husbands were accompanying the wives instead; it's stereotypical that older women want to go to something classy while many men of a range of ages would prefer a bar band). Some of them may have been foreign. (I do listen to people talk, a little, even if I'm not terribly interested.) I don't disagree that tasteless remarks are unhelpful. OTOH there are other "singers" that do some of those things and if you don't watch but only listen, definitely have less in the way of voice going for them. But yes, civilized people (of any age, even if that's asking a bit much of the young) might well prefer polite and restrained conduct to the tawdry version of showmanship. Doesn't mean they imagine a fantasy granddaughter, or necessarily any other sort of fantasy.

We just need her to get a a younger female alt pop demo too which is helping a bit with the Echosmith dates but that will end in another week or two. Both Christmas shows according to ghost have over 1.2k sold. To quote donkey, its already a great year for Jackie. Its about the work though. So more dates in 2025 they need to work on.

People are different. Their approaches are different. That makes one-to-one comparisons difficult.
More than that, although I certainly prefer certain skills and relatively (there has to be some room for interpretation appropriate to the genre, content, and venue) restrained behavior and attire, I am deeply suspicious of the motives of many comparisons; they're often to support an opinion about "better" or "worse" in a situation that isn't that simple. Basically a way of taking shots at someone. And even if one thinks one "better" than another, both may end up working together one day on some middle ground, so it doesn't do anyone a favor to try to cast light on one by casting shade on another.
In that regard I don't care if it's a Jackie supporter casting shade elsewhere, or someone trying to point out what others do to succeed (which may not have as much to do with success as they think) that Jackie doesn't do. Either way, it's an example of what CS Lewis said along the lines that people tend to reduce "good" and "bad" to "what I like" and "what I don't like"; which takes away meaning, and generates more heat than light.
There's also values vs opinions. Although some might regard both as subjective, they are NOT the same thing.

Poor Sims continues to pound his OTT drums... Nope. The spam has said she has no friends. Have there been any musicians that have either been there for you or mentored you over the years? "No. No, not really. I mean, there’s always maybe brief communication, but no, definitely no close relationship or mentorship at all. It’s so funny. Even my label was like, “Oh, do you have any famous friends or people in the industry and stuff?” And I was like, “No, I barely have friends in my own life.” I definitely don’t have famous friends." This quote was by Grace to a question given on the red carpet and is a canned answer she has given on multiple occasions. It is also a fib. The reality is that she was given advice early in her career by, among others, Shawn Mendes, Selena Gomez, and Jason Mraz. Mendes gifted her a guitar, Grace threw Selena a birthday party backstage, and Mraz and her met at a world Special Olympics event where they performed together and later co-wrote and recorded a song that was never released. She was also friends with Maddie Ziegler and Millie Bobby Brown. As for friends overall, she did have close friends in NYC where she grew up, in Savannah, Georgia where she lived for a few years, and now backj in NYC where she currently resides. You see in her IG the same group of non-celebrities going out with her and having a great time, shopping together, etc. So what she said is obviously false. The reasons for saying so are pretty clear: someone will bother these people later to verify and try to get some dirt. This is a common ploy to simply shut the communication of unwanted information down at the source. Also, she has not been in contact with the stars I mentioned earlier for years although she still follows some of them. It may be that is because they live on the opposite side of the country, they had a falling out, or they grew apart. In the case of Mendes and Selena Gomez, it may have just been that they had experienced child stardom and wanted to give some guidance on pitfalls to avoid. Once she got a few years older, there was no need for that any longer. Grace has been in contact and remains close to some of those she worked with in the Stargirl films. As with most adults, her current friends are in her main lines of work: music and fashion.
The difference in her case with Jackie is that there is evidence of her having friends in childhoot as you saw them appearing in random photos (some from her parents' IGs). It may be that Jackie had friends but Lisa meticulously eliminated any photo that contained other children outside the family. I do believe Jackie has friends now and she mentioned making friends during her current tour. Jackie's not stripping with dirty pillows or butt humping the air for thirst traps or a gap in the teeth. Its just that voice.
As for the physical abnormalities, given the choice of Grace's gap between her two front teeth and Jackie's bone structure of an 80 year old, I would wholeheartedly embrace the gap. Correct me if I quote you wrong but you have stated that the comparisons are unnecessary? The spam is either political by donkey which is not acceptable either or poppers who frequently are nude or near nude on social media which clearly explains how they are getting followers. The attention they get is wrapped around being half naked or naked. Some who used to be child entertainers actors or singers go that route. In the last year, we have seen pics of Jackie that are as revealing as anything anyone else mentioned has worn. This happens to be a trend in high fashion (hypersexuality and prudeness go in cycles) and, if you do any appearances for a magazine or a design house, that is how you will be dressed.
Jackie herself believes in God and prays. The creator of amazon as far as I know was a very religious person and other than a handful from a decade or more ago. They love to dig in the past as to way to deflect from their own trolling and their stupid nonsense. I don't have any real knowledge of Jackie's religious beliefs. I assume given the name and where she grew up that she was raised a Catholic. As for Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, there is evidence he was raised Catholic. Having been raised Catholic myself, I can tell you that can range from ultra-conservative to C&E Catholic (show up for Christmas, Easter, weddings, and funerals). There has been some speculation on Bezos:
donkey's youtube stats show overall men (men most certainly view youtube way more than woman, no one told him that) and he disagreed that women arent much more in the CC audience even though its text book CC but the stats dont reflect that. We just need her to get a a younger female alt pop demo too which is helping a bit with the Echosmith dates but that will end in another week or two. I am apparently in a minority here who believe Jackie has a future. Some can't wait to piss on the burning embers of her career, others would rather she fail than be successful in a genre they don't like, and still others are just curious onlookers. I've said from the beginning that this is going to be a process of finding an audience and her past success will mean nothing to her intended market. But she has done well if you consider she is working from scratch in a new genre. Many here were critical of her doing "Black Hole Sun" but that song now has 164,000 streams on Spotify and will probably end up going past everything on Solla. As I pointed out at the time, it might get some people familiar with the song but not Jackie to listen. So good for her.
