Jackie's not stripping with dirty pillows or butt humping the air for thirst traps or a gap in the teeth. Its just that voice. You are extremely demented. I don't know what this means nor how it is relevant, but I don't care about your inner world. I can sit through Jackie's concerts as long as you are there to herald as the greatest fan that ever lived. Sims claims others use sex instead of voice to be where they are. But that wouldn't explain the differences in Streaming. It may make a difference in music videos or concerts but there isn't nothing visual in Streaming. Example JoJo Siwa gets very high video views but very low streaming numbers. Addison Rae's "Aquamarine" came out a day after Jackie "Black Hole Sun" and you could say sex helped sell her video (3.9 Million Views) but it wouldn't sell her streaming numbers ( Spotify 18,315,151 streams) where as Black Hole Sun only has (Spotify 164,365 streams).
You could say that for any artist, people aren't going to stream songs they don't like.

It may make a difference in music videos or concerts but there isn't nothing visual in Streaming. Example JoJo Siwa gets very high video views but very low streaming numbers. You could say that for any artist, people aren't going to stream songs they don't like.
If I like them enough, I buy downloads rather than stream; they get at least pennies if not a dollar or two (for an album), rather than fractions of pennies; and I get to keep the download independent of any streaming subscription. Not to say I won't stream a bit to help the numbers, or stream other things that I like some but aren't at the level of keepers - with a paid subscription (Apple Music, given I have a lot of Apple gadgetry and their audio quality is just about the best except for some minor exotic providers). But IMO those who stream everything using some "free" streaming (commercials usually, but also pays less), are mostly young people that think that "free" exists; probably their parents never required them to do chores or anything. TANSTAAFL should be pounded into their near-empty skulls until they understand it. There's always a downside to "free", even if it mostly lands on someone else. "Free" either has strings attached or steals from someone else (esp. but not only if government is involved; always, unless it's VOLUNTARY PRIVATE CHARITY). |

Addison Ray was successful in rebraning herself, Jackie like JoJo Siwa were not. Jackie singing all her old song pretty well proves it.

Not spinning anything. Don't mind other people succeeding, but I don't care in the slightest how or how much they succeed. They're not a bit interesting to me. I'm NOT interested in the business or anything remotely competitive, won't even watch sports tomorrow. NOTHING you or anyone says here will change anything. If there are lessons to be learned, it's the people who need to learn them that need to discover them and act on them. No preacher or teacher can actually teach anything, they can just provide materials; it takes the learner to actually learn. Or not. So it boils down to "na na na, I'm right and you're wrong". Boring. |
